Little Mermaid in Soft Opening right now!

Per Disneyland Live, Disneyland Today, Westcoasternet, and others on Twitter, Little Mermaid is soft opened right now to guests. May open/close at any time. If you are in the parks, go now!

I specifically went to DCA on my time off yesterday to see if there were any soft openings occurring for LM, and of course there weren't In fact, the CM I asked said that they weren't having any more soft openings and that there were strictly going to be CM previews only and the AP preview next week. Guess she was wrong or misinformed??

Well they were doing CM previews yesterday, I am pretty sure. I wouldn't blame the CM, they are the last to know many times. Disney is notorious for that!

I am guessing that when it is open for AP previews it will NOT be open to the public for soft opening. So probably from now until its grand opening, it is possible to have soft openings on any day other than AP preview days.

Oh I hope they continue soft openings this weekend! I leave for 4 days at DL starting tomorrow morning. I was bummed that I didn't get picked for Star Tours AP promo and didn't think there would be any at all for Little Mermaid, but maybe I'll luck out and be able to ride both. Fingers crossed.

i can confirm, there was a soft opening today... however, it did go down a few times though...

its possible there is one tomorrow since the ride is pretty much ready and just seeing how it will do during a huge rush...

Rode it twice today. It was cute. However, lots of stopping mid ride to let people on & off, which was kind of annoying.

DCA had the soft opening for TLMAUA today at 2pm today. It was a little bit longer to get on ride then I predicted. Especially since yesterday had the soft openings at 10:30am. But I got on the ride today and it was great. Hoping that they will do another soft opening tomorrow.

I will post the pics later today.

Just like what the other DISers said about the ride, there was a lot of stopping because of the loading and unloading.
