Glad I'm not the only one who thought that Nat - the report said her parents were only 50 metres (yards) away but, even so, who'd leave a 3 year old on their own, in a strange country

Plus her younger twin brother and sister were also left with her? They could be no older than 2 years.

I have so far only read the link story, i read it as she had been put to bed while the parents and their friends had dinner a few yards away,
and that the shutters on the bedroom window had been forced.

I also felt this. Why on earth would you leave your children. I dont care if it was 50 mtrs away. I would not even do this in this country to be honest.

I will tell you a little story, which makes me feel for this child.

When I was 4 years old, my parents took me to Ibiza with them. On one night they took me to the room in a hotel room and locked the door. Apparently I was being naughty sounds to me like a typical 4 yr old. Anyway the friends they met suggested that they took me to the room and leave me there. No harm would come. Anyway I remember jumping out of bed screaming and shouting and trying to open the door, but for some reason I couldnt. I dont really know how long it was, but every minute felt like forever. I felt so scared being alone. I remember going running back to bed screaming. Then all of a sudden my dad came back to the room and took me back down stairs with them. Can I say this is the only vivid memory I have at the age of 4 and dont remember anything else about that holiday other than what the pictures showed. My dad said he couldnt leave me. To this day I still remind them of what they did and how I felt. I can only imagine if this poor child was either snatched or woke up and wondered somewhere how scared she must of been realising that her parents were there and she was alone. I can remember still. Oh it makes me so sad to of read this. The funny thing is my parents were so strict in my upbringing almost controlling, yet they did that makes me

Very scarey! It just surprises me that their were 3 children who were all very young there and only one was took? I know people go into 'relax' mode when their away, but these are 2 professional doctors with 3 young children. I just hope she returns safely soon.

I agree with you all why leave your kids? Our's either come out with us or we all have an early night! Hope she is found safe though but if she was taken why only her? Doesn't make sense maybe she did just wander off?

I really hope that she is found soon safe and sound, I have no children as you all know so am not really in a position to pass judgement but there is no way on this earth that i would leave twins at age two and a three year old unaccompanied even only 50 yards away,. It said on the news this evening that the hotel also offered a baby sitting service.
