List Your Ideas For "Enhanced Romance" in The World ( ;

I think we should start a thread for ideas on how to make certain experiences extra special! Heres mine!

We are going to The World in just under two weeks with my parents. Some of you know, I am doing all I can to make this trip as memorable as possible for my mother who is in stage 4 breast cancer, and is also batteling clots on her lungs, making it almost impossible to breath.

So anyway.... They are having one dinner alone at Chefs De France, and I wanted to do something special for their meal. I thought about a doing a special cake, but we are already doing one a day earlier at Sanaa, and its just the two of them, and would be a waiste, quite frankly. So someone on here suggested candles - Great idea! I called the restaurant, and was dissapointed because I was told they do not allow candles in any of Disneys restaurants. Then - LED LIGHTS!! I emailed the manager again, and was told that LED lights would be perfect!


So I just wanted to pass this information to anyone who is trying to make a meal extra special and memorable.

I will definitely keep your mother in my prayers! LED lights are a great way to celebrate...will have to remember that.

A (smaller) special dessert might be nice too!

The chocolate glass slipper is quite popular (see below). I am sure that there are also a bunch of dessert options that Les Chefs could tailor for a special occasion like this one.

Thats really beautiful. You could try to arrange a carriage ride if your mother would be up to it. Or maybe see if there is an indoor location from where she can view the fireworks. I belive in CR you can see them from the restaurant but I'm not sure i've only been for lunch. But then she can enjoy the fireworks without smoke.
