This was my favorite ride on my first trip back in the 70's. My poor Grandpa rode it over and over with me. There is a cardinal rule in my house that you can't make fun of Mom's favorite ride. Of course, DS13 counters with fake enthusiasm ooohing and aaahing over everything pretending it is the best ride ever.![]()
That moment you step out from under the railroad station on Main Street is very magical too.![]()
Okay, so we are both supposed to be finishing report cards and here we are on the Dis...I think Dis should stand for Distracted!!!
) but I still find an excuse to ride the monorail at least once per trip.

Riding the TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority) for me I'm not at Disney until I ride it.![]()
Standing on main street and looking down at the castle is a moment that makes my heart skip and beat and brings tears to my eyes everytime I;m there. Heck, it brings a tear to my eyes when I just think about it!!! now thats magic. QUOTE]
Really couldn't have wrote it better![]()
But not that I give it some thought I found something even better last trip.... we were given the opportunity to go to the employee lounge in Test Track. The view was simply amazing! But the very very best part was how much my mom enjoyed our time in the lounge. She loves to people watch and watching in air conditioned comfort was just simply the bestI'm hoping to swing another trip there for her again this year

My personal favorite is Main Street and the Castle. DS (2) and DD (2) loved the Crystal Palace Character Breakfast--worth every penny and more--I would have paid 3 times what we paid.
