List of hotels & dates codes won't work on

No AP Rates at YC, BC, or BWI for 10/5-10/10.

Tried to convert a 12/10 - 12/12 WL woods view from AAA to AP yesterday. Nothing available at the WL, std, woods, courtyard.
But we got AKL Savannah view for $151 per night, so I'm happy.

November 28-December 4.

I just switched to Port Orleans Riverside. I'm SO disappointed. It's starting to feel like absolutely everything at Disney is impossible to book in time.

On Tuesday I can look forward to another onslaught of disappointment as I try for PS reservations.


Feeling pessimistic, I'll perk up as I explore more about Riverside, but it's a huge letdown from the freedom and space of the cabins.

My AAA rate for Fort Wilderness was $2.00 cheaper than the BAT code. I guess Disney won't give us campers a break !!!

I tried to get the AAA discount for 11/11-11/15 at the Yacht Club... No rooms available..

I'm not trying to discourage anyone but a CM told me that if someone books with a discount and then cancels it, it goes back into the system at rack rate. With that said, I will still try and call back and see if I can get the discount because someone cancels. Hope he was wrong.

When I first booked our Oct 12 thry 19 trip back in jan I got AAA

rate of $955 for 7 nites just waitng patiently for the famous discount code


I was up before 6 so I could be ready for work and I could spend the time on hold waiting for my code.

I was on hold for 1/2 hour when i finally had to leave for work.

I tried at my break was on hold for 15 minutes still no luck

So at lunch I took my lunch and cell outside figuring Id be on hold the whole time.

I dialed got my lunch out and the call was answered!!!!!

After checking I could save $100 by changing to a king room.

nothing was left at the standard rooms.

Im still working on that one.

I was afraid that there would be nothing left at the CBR!!

but Im still going to try for a cheaper room though!!!

by the way this was with the BAT code

Going Nov. 10-14 code not available......No Fl. Residents code available for POFQ, so, I had to change to All Star Music! Saved me about $325.00

nothing available but ASMU, BW and suite at CSR

I too thought that once a ressie was cancelled that it went back to the "pool" as a non-discounted room, but CM encouraged me to keep calling back........ (I was thrilled to get anything for $49 for that time frame).

I think they go back in to the rack rate pool, but then they go back in to the code pool. I couldn't get a room for Poly GV on Wednesday with the AP code or on Thursday with the room-only code. I called Friday and got a GV room and she said that there were plenty available. Keep checking back.

Did anyone get a AP or code rate for Poly concierge. Either GV or LV? I'm just wondering what it goes for at discount.

We got Poly LVC for Oct 29-31 (Regular season) for $457 with tax and Oct 31-Nov2 (value season) for $424 with tax. It took several days of calling to get for all 4 nights. This is with the AP rate. No GVC was available with any code.

OK - so here's my experience for all to see. (This could potentially be long). I have called every day since July waiting for AP rates for 10/14-10/17. (Have DVC check in already on 10/17 for rest of trip.. ) On the day the rates were released I was at school waiting on a VERY long line trying to register for classes that were CLOSED. So I'm really bummed about not getting into my classes b/c now I have to push school back until January. So I get back to work at 2:00 pm and OH NO - the AP rates were released and obviously a lot were taken. So this was my finding - for 10/14 - 10/17

Poly - nothing
CR - deluxe garden suite $900/night (Ha Ha Ha)
WL - honeymoon suite and presidential suites
YC & BC - nothing
BW - standard view $214/night
AKL - Concierge $309/night
POR - $79/night


I didn't know what the other member of my party wanted to do, so I booked both the BW & POR. After speaking with him, he said POR was fine with him, as he would get to stay in a Deluxe at the end of the trip. So I cancelled the BW. Then I tried to change the POR to POFQ and was told there was nothing available. Then I called back on Sunday morning and was able to change to POFQ at the AP rate with no problem.

So KEEP TRYING!!!! People change plans and cancel all the time. To be honest, I'm still going to keep trying b/c I know my friend had his heart set on staying at the WL. Good Luck to everyone!!!

Called Disney using the BAT rate and got a reservation. Filled out quote form with Dreams unlimited and got same date cheaper. Cancelled Disney and booked through them. Plus I didn't have to hold forever.

Going to POP November 20 - 24 and TA w/DU couldn't get any discounts other than AAA for first night (rest of the trip is on Silver Plan). TA is still trying and hoping that somebody cancels.

It appears after reading the prior 5 pages that when WDW puts the discounts out during this part of the year, there aren't that many rooms available per resort per code.

Yet out on Expedia I can see the same room at POP for $55.00, through AAA it was $69.00. While I am not quibling about $15.00 for a one night rate, spread that over my entire stay and theres another night.

Just wondering how Expedia can get that rate and still have room available when DU and others can't.

We were looking to get a Contemporary wing SV for 10/27 - 10/31. The day the AP codes came out, nothing was available so I booked the Carribean Beach. The following day those 4 nights had a water View available with the BAT Code so I switched $914 total 4 nights. The next day a very helpful CM found that I could book 10/28-10/31 at a Contemporary Standard view room for $498 total with EWP code, and kept 10/27 in a Water view room bringing current total to $726.

We are crrently stuck there (no big deal) as Wednesday 10/27 must be a busy day at the Contemporary...was wondering if anyone else had any experinece with that date??

Boardwalk Inn - nothing from basic rooms to suites
Then the 3rd one was the charm - we were able to reserve a garden room at the Poly for $229 per night

We're booked Jersey Week Nov 3-9 with AAA at WL. Called three times, only thing available with BAT was Honeymoon Suite. I guess I still should keep trying.

Do you also think there is no availability because some people book up several reservations with the codes, and then wait to decide?
