I'm bummed. I have a room reserved at $144/night. Thought I would be able to get a better price.

Should I keep calling back to see if something becomes available?

Yes, you will physically have to check out and then back in.

However - if the CM you spoke with noted on the reservation that both ressi numbers are ONE reservation, there is no reason you should have to switch rooms.

You might want to call the resort directly a couple of days prior to arrival to ensure that this is noted.

If I contact my personal planner ( I am staying concierge) will they make sure I don't have to switch rooms the last night?

There's always a chance that more rooms with the BAT code come out.

I can't tell you how many ressi's I made yesterday as a 'hold'. In other words, there was no deposit.

When you make a brand new ressi, you have up to 2 weeks to make a deposit. During that time frame MANY people change their mind, opening up rooms at the discounted rate yet again.

I'd try every other day or so. And definitely try on September 9th (this is the 2 week mark following the release of this code, if deposits are not made, the discounted room goes back into CRO's system)

My CM had the first 2 days at $90 less PER day. when she went back to actually "plug it in" it was gone.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that on Expedia they have YC for 229$ a night during my stay, while CRO had absolutely NO discount? I realize they probably have blocks of rooms for different codes etc but that seems wrong somehow that people with AP's cant get a disocunt while they are out there for the general public! Just my opinion!!!!!!

The CM had me going too... She said they had the discount for two of the four dates, then she said oh no just one then she put me on hold for like 15 minutes...

Could not get my rate down at POP using BAT for Nov10-16th. Tried to have them split, or just use the code for a couple of the days with no luck.

Wow! What are the chances of getting the same CM twice!? I was told the same thing as you while calling for POP rates. AS Music or Sports or CSR. I thought of staying half at one of the AS to save money, but not sure $60ish would be worth switching. I have stayed at AS Movies, but never the other two.

You should keep trying. There are those on other boards that called back today and got WL for their dates. You never know!
