List for pregnancy restrictions?

Is there a comprehensive list out there, like there are for height restrictions? Also, one of the docs in my ob's practice has been to WDW many, many times and he said that I could really ride anything I want at this point in my pregnancy (20 weeks). Although, I would like to ride some things that are restricted (Safari, Pirates of the Caribbean...) I still don't feel comfortable riding more intense rides (RNR Coaster, TOT, Space Mtn...). Also, we have a 20 month old so I am perfectly fine waiting with him while dh rides those rides. So, I guess another question is - has anyone deviated from the Disney warnings?

but really it is common sense. You will be fine and there really is a lot you will be able to ride. I have spent many a year pregnant at DW(we have 4 kids) I avoided the rollercoasters, splash, tea cups-(made me sick) Dinosaur- anything that had a warning I stayed off of.
Now that being said I do have High Blood Pressure-(on medication and under control) and that doesn't keep me off the rides like Mission Space.....

I haven't looked at the allears list for a few months, but the last time I did look, some of the rides they have listed are not ones that are listed as having warnings about pregnancy by Disney. That site listed some (like the Teacups) because some pregnant women listed them as rides they didn't like for various reasons. (They don't list the reasons though, so you don't know why - it could be an actual official warning, it could be some women didn't like the motion or the ride car or that the ride made them sick -like the previous poster noted).
There isn't a specific list, but this is a link to the official WDW Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities, which does tell about any warnings (like pregnancy) in the description of each attraction.
There is also a sign at the entrance to the queue for each attraction and at least one more sign before boarding for those with warnings. The park maps also have an icon (a little red triangle) by each ride with warnings.

FYI, Safari has a warning, probably because of bumpiness. POC doesn't have a warning. Splash Mountain does - the reason I've heard is the sudden acceleration and quick. steep drop going down the main drop could possibly detatch the placenta.

I was there back in September - approx. 10 weeks pregnant at the point. My doctor just told me to avoid anything that had a high g-force. That meant any of the big roller coasters. I did go on the Safari (in my opinion not that bumpy), Splash Mountain (probably rode that about 10 times). Did not go on Fast Track, Space Mountain, RnR Coaster, Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mountain. Had a great time relaxing and people watching as DH And DD went on those rides.

ditto on the g-force rides. that was the main thing that my ob stipulated. I was about 20 weeks during our spring break trip last year. I did the safari but sat at the front. we had been on it many times before so i knew what to expect but it was a little bumpy so it could make you a little sore. Things we didnt do: teacups, SM, BTMRR, SpaceM, ToT, RnR, basically anything fast and spinny and anything questionable

Also, drink lots of water to keep your fluids up! HAVE FUN and RELAX!

I went on Splash and safari while 26 weeks pregnant. I avoided the roller coasters, TOT, Test Track. And I don't go on rides like Mission Space or Star Tours to begin with.

I never realized how bumpy the safari was until I rode it at about 13 weeks. I felt like I'd drop right there. That could have been because I was carrying twins-didn't know until the next week. I wouldn't ride ride again pregnant-twins or not.

I went to WDW this past Oct/Nov when I was also about 20 weeks pregnant. My OB was very familiar with WDW and said that I'd be fine riding Splash Mountain, POC, etc. He said to avoid the roller coasters and Mission Space, and to use common sense.

WDW errs on the side of caution when it comes to pregnancy warnings, so there are warnings on a LOT of rides! Personally, I trust my OB/GYN knows best when it comes to these things.

If you go to the official WDW website and perform a search for the word expectant, a list of all the rides that have the warning about expectant mothers should come up.

You didn't really ask for two cents but here goes nothing: my doc used to say "you probably won't cause a miscarriage by vacuuming, but if you have a miscarriage you'll always wonder if you did, so why do that to yourself?" Better safe than sorry.

Of course, who wants to vacuum anyway?

Safaris can be really really bumpy or sometimes not too bad.. depends on the truck and the driver. We don't prohibit you from riding, it's up to you.
