Lisa, just thinking about you and hoping you are having fun! This used to be the time we always went back when my kids were on year round schooling, I wish I was there now so I could meet you face to face (and be in WDW of course).

Hi Amy and Tracy

I am in Disney and loving it. My training is wonderful and I hate that the week is so short. There are so many sessions that I want to attend and not enough time slots for it all.

ASMusic is great. I am in the back Broadway building right near the parking lot,just like I asked for. I was sick when I got here, flying does that to me, but I am fine now. Don't have much time left on the internet, but I will definitely fill you all in next week.

Hello everyone. Thank you for keeping up with me while I was gone. Unfortunately I have been super busy since I have been back, combined with internet not working well at work (upgrade gone wrong I think) I haven't had much Dis time.

I have been thinking of you all and hope everyone had an awesome Mother's Day. Mine was good. I will get to journals soon, I promise. Hopefully Sunday and I will fill you all in on the highlights of my trip. It was great! ...or you can check out my trip report.....gotta go, DS needs me.

Things have been crazy. I came down sick the beginning of last week and things have just gotten worse. By Friday I had lost my voice I was having issues with my laptop (virus ) and then DH dropped it. and didn't tell me. Work has been super busy as we are helping with the oil spill response and I have been working short days since I have been sick and it is the end of school. I miss the evenings of DIS.......

Good news. Quick update.

I have paid off a credit card, on time, by the schedule I had set.

We are going to Iowa tomorrow for a neice's graduation. Never been there.

DD received three awards at school on Monday. All A's for the year, Citizenship of the Year (for her room) and Accelerated Reading trophy. She also read the most AR books in her room.

DS made the swim team. and hopefully is receiving all B's (fingers crossed)

I tried to reply last night and when I hit submit, I received the message that the Dis would be down for two hours. Oh well....

Hi everyone

Really sorry to be gone for so long. The past month has not been kind. I was very sick for quite some time. So much that it even hurt to try to read on the computer. But I'm better now.

Then DH tried to kill my laptop and it had to go to the hospital. I have it back now and he isn't allowed to touch it.

Work has been insane. We are less than one hour North of the coast, but we actually sent some guys to Texas to help with surveys over there. Between an incredible overload of work, computer upgrades that didn't work, servers that crashed, etc. But things are beginning to get better and slow down, at least for a few days.

My friend April's dad is in the hospital. He went in for emergency surgery. He got better and was getting ready to come home. Early in the morning of the day he was to be released, the hospital called to say he had coded and was in a coma. He was given some sleeping medicine he shouldn't have been and it caused him to stop breathing. He is out of the coma now, but basically a vegetable. The doctors don't know if he will ever get any better. The family has faith that things will work out. We all just keep praying.

April was suppose to keep DD this summer, but now she can't. We had to scramble for care for her and have the summer pretty much worked out now.

We went to Iowa Memorial Day weekend and had a great trip. We did drive and the drive wasn't bad at all. None of us have ever been there before and we really enjoyed ourselves. We even visited the Field of Dreams movie site and played a little baseball.

Had to have both AC units looked at. We could tell one wasn't working right, so the technician checked both while he was there. Have to have the main coil replaced on one now and the other one sometime next year. Unless it goes out sooner. Not even four years old and already a problem, and even though it is a warranty issue, we still have to pay the labor. I am going to try writing the company after the work is done. Just don't think I should have to pay to have a part replaced under warranty.

Confession time.

I have totally screwed up and wrecked all the progress I have made over the past year. While I was sick, the only thing that made me feel better was drinking coke, then all the medicine I took made me very hungry A LOT!!! And, I was sick for so long and so worn out, than absolutely no exercise of any kind was done. I am so frustrated with myself. But, it's time to get back on the wagon and I'll probably be starting completely over, but been there once.....and survived, so I'm sure I can do it again. I have a marathon in January to be ready for.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been so sick. Praying for a complete and total healing for you, my friend.

I'm sorry to hear about April's dad. We'll be praying for him and for his family.

I know that you're frustrated right now, but please don't be so hard on yourself. When you're sick, you do what you have to do to get healthy again. I know you'll get back OP with your food and your exercise. Just be sure and take it gradually. You don't want to overdo it and get sick again.

I'm so glad you're back, Lisa! Try and take it easy for the next few days, okay?

Lisa, I have missed you and am so happy to "see" you again Do not be hard on yourself. You have had so much going on between work, being sick and having Aprils dad get sick and the fallout from that with your daycare. I will pray for this man, what a tragedy for all involved.

You will get back on track and I am betting you'll be surprised at how quickly you start to feel better. You worked hard and even with all that you have going on, I am betting all that you accomplished isn't lost!

We are here for you always Lisa, don't forget that!
