Well, I might as well get this thing started. I know that I will forget something by the time that we get home and then it will take a week to post.
Pre day one ( friday night ). It was about 7:00pm and I was going to load the cart up so we could leave early in the morning. As I pulled the cart out of the shed I noticed a small piece of metal on the ground. Upon closer inspection, this was a peice of metal that I had put between the axle and leaf spring of the rear end of the cart when I moved the springs from the bottom of the axle to the top ( to get a coule extra inches of lift ). Without these, the axle would move forward and back. Unable to manufacture a new one ( I found one but both were gone ), I had to take the springs off and re-mount in the stock position for fear of serious problems on the trip. This was a couple of hours that I had not scheduled for.
Day one ( Saturday ). I had hoped to leave by 7:00 am but we didn't actually get going until about 9:00. I found out that $120.00 in gas did not give me as much as $75.00 did on the last trip. Finally made it down at about 11:00am and of course, our site was not available. They said we could have a site right away in the 1300 loop but, we decided to wait for our 900 site. When we got the all clear and started heading for our site, it started to rain and lightning. Off I go to take the cart off the trailer and move the trailer to the back of the site. I got good and wet at this point but managed to get it all unhooked and the camper backed in. I put the jacks down, power hooked up, awning out and,,,,it stopped raining @$%@$..At his point I went to put the slide out and the #$% power hookup was right at the slide. I go to move the camper and the rear jacks don't want to go up. No problem, I'll "help" them a little,,,,,is that rain again #^%^,,If I wasn't at the Fort I would be loosing my mind at this point. Re-situate the camper, put the slide out and,,,,rain stops:furious: . I did the rest between showers and all was right with the world. Somehow it doesn't seem fair that I'm now wet and agravated and Lisa is on the couch reading a book having the time of her life but, I was not about to compound the problem by ticking her off. after a little calming down, we went over to Kahunas site and got to meet a few people. We opted to cook the wings at our site so we weren't around much in the begining but, made up for it later. I'm sure that more will be posted on the GG later so I will hold off on that for now. I will say that everyone seemed to have a good time and meeting everyone was awesome.

way to go Lisa, now she knows what camping is all about. :rotfl:

Sorry you got off to a bad start Mike but glad it turned out OK. :woohoo:

DAY TWO
decided to go over to Hollywood studios for the day and had a blast. Our main purpose was to ride the Toy Story Mania ride and it was every bit as good as the hype. We got our fast passes first thing and then did a few things to pass the time. After riding Toy Story we came back to the camper for dinner and an impromtu nap:lmao: . Finally got up and going again to the Magic Kingdom for Extra Magic hours. We managed to ride everything we wanted to in a short amount of time. the only thing we didn't ride that we normally do was Thunder and Splash mountain. We would have done these but, Lisa gets a little uncomfortable on the rides so we don't ride them in the dark. Thats OK, we have a couple more days to go back. Needless to say, we didn't get to socialize much on this day because we were doing Disney stuff.
I'll post photos when we get home and post these thoughout the trip. I wish we would have gotten the chance to meet alot more of the Fort Fiends but, there will be other trips and we look forward to meeting as many of you as we can.

Mike, glad you guys are having a great time, keep us up to date. We need our fort fix any way we can get it!! I have been there with the rain and the wife, and the camper not in the right spot, but hey, a bad day at the fort, beats a good day at home any day.:lmao:

Thanks for sharing your trip!
Last time we were there I was putting up a tent in the rain and that is exactly how I felt a bad day at the Fort beats a good day at home. Anyhow Everything works out. Great Trip report!

Sound like yall had a good time after a little rough start. After reading one of the other post, whish I could got some of those wings.

The wings seemed to be a big hit.

DAY THREE

We started a little late but we are in relax mode. We went over to EPCOT.
Getting to EPCOT didn't take too long on the busses but, we never seem to have a problem with the bus system. When we got there, we walked around to world showcase. One of our main goals was to go to Japan. Landon ( our little one ) is really into the Japanese cartoons and the culture so we were hoping to get her a thing or two. Before anyone says it, she didn't want to come on this trip, we didn't just leave her at home:lmao: .While on our way, they were doing a play in England that we decided to stop and watch. Being a play, and more than likely a comedy that was based around the Holy Grail, I was waiting for the Monty Python reference that never happened. It was however, very funny. After this display, we went over to Japan and was suprised how big it was. After trying to decide what to get, we decided to take the boat to Hollywood Studios. Did you know that boat existed?? You load up just outside the back entrance to EPCOT ( around France). It was a nice ride that makes three resort stops before getting to the Studios. Our whole intention was to eat lunch and ride the Toy Story ride again. We were going to try and get in Indiana Jones and Star Tours if we had the time but decided not to. Fast passes were already out ( reminds me of Soarin' for fast passes )so we had lunch and decided to wait in the line. After another awesome ride, we took the bus back to the Fort and decided to call it a night.

Mike, My DH & I love to watch the Holy Grail play @ England. It is very funny:rotfl2: . We say that thing over and over (grail, grail, grail uh) whenever we think about that play.:lmao:

Mike, thanks for sharing your trip report! I love getting a little Fort fix every day! Dang, I hate Texas, its too @#$%*&^ far from WDW.

I was only kidding, i love Texas, born and raised here, maybe i hate Louisiana, Miss., and Ala., if not for them we would be right next door to Florida! Again, just kidding, I have friends in La, and I love all of our great country!

Just a few pics. My couple of GG pics were tha same as some others so I won't post them again.
We were attacted by Troll on our trip, lucky for us they are a big ugly and slow creature with minimal intelligence, so this young boy was able to take him out without fear of injury to himself..

Instead of replacing everything pete ran over with his truck, they made an official pull through.

This looked like a site with COOL people but, for fear of Stalking Laws, I decided to only take a picture. ( I intentionally left out who it is, or I think it is, in case they don't want to be Stalked in the future.

We didn't catch the hoop de doo but, we did catch this dinner show.

These ducks came by everyday. They waddled by while I was watching ( I know I should have been helping ) Monica and Dean pack up. ( I actually have a system where I would rather do mine by myself so that I don't miss anything but, I forget that everyone is not that way.

I found the next Cart project. This may be a little extreme but, I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to build it.

Mike, I used to have wind chimes kinda like that, mine were melted down miller lite bottles, and they actually sounded nice. Then I got married, and the wife said they were "uncool" and threw them away. :(

Can't forget this one

Does anyone know anything about this boat. I see it every trip but, never see people get on or off. It is however, normally full.
