Lisa S (or anyone else) question about AKV rooms

OK, we MAY have had an "oddity" room, but I'm not sure...and I know Lisa S will know!

We were in 5525, a 1 BR. It's about 3/4 of the way down zebra trail. Awesome savannah view, great setup in the room.

The connecting door is on the left, right as you walk in the door, between the entry way and the closet.

The oddity occurs in the bathroom, I think.

You walk into the bathroom, tub on the right, double vanity on the left, mirror hanging on the wall directly in front of you. At the END of the room, on the right, is the "comode room" and on the left is.....a set of narrow shelves....sorta like you'd find in a linen closet.

I thought I'd heard people mention there was a FULL closet there, in their units, but now I can't remember if that was the case or not. There is also a "mechanical structure" on that same wall...a vent and ductwork...and I'm wondering if that "prevented" them from putting in the closet, if, in fact, there is supposed to be one.

Can anyone shed any light on this? It certainly didn't make or brake the room for us...I'm just curious!

We stayed in 5518 during our October trip. It was a one bedroom as well. We had the same setup as you with the shelves and no closet door.

I looked up the floor plan for your room and it is the standard Jambo House 1BR. It is the mirror image of the one I've posted below. Most of the Jambo House 1BRs do not have a closet in the bathroom (maybe you're thinking of the Kidani model room?) I have seen at least one 1BR floor plan that had a small closet in the master bath but I think it was an HA unit because the bathroom was laid out a bit differently. For example, both the tub and toilet were at the far end of the bathroom behind a sliding door.
