Lion King Show

DS and DDIL are taking the princess who is 2 on her first trip. I want them to see the Lion King Show at AK. Since this is the first trip and she is young if I recall once the show starts there is no way out. This is the way it was in the old building. Is it still the same in the new one?

You can always get out by waving to a castmember at the edge of the seating area and they will lead you to one of the exits. Tell someone when you are seated you are unsure if the young one will make it through and ask how to exit early - they will probably seat you next to their station.

you can get out at anytime. Same was with the old theater. Just head to the CM stationed in each section and they will help you get out safely. Best sections to be if you think you might need to get out during the show is Warthog and Lion

I am almost certain that they say that if you need to leave at some point, to let one of the attendants know. I do not know if they let you back in though.

She will love it! Last December we took our DGD who wasn't quite 2. The other day my DH was playing the video he took of the show and she started dancing to it. She was doing some weird twirls, falling to the floor, hopping back up, lifting her leg and spinning, while rolling to the floor around. Then we realized she was imitating the bird girl! It was amazing to see that she remembered the show, and the girls just love the "Can you feel the love tonight" part!

Not only can you leave, but you can get back inside.
