Linking tickets in app - when they have been bought by two different people

I'll be taking my nephews to Disneyland this month. They live in Southern California and their mom is buying them the southern california discounted tickets. I'm buying my ticket separately since I live elsewhere. I'd like to link all the tickets in my app so that we can all try for the same boarding group in RotR. Is it possible to link tickets from multiple buyers or do you have to actually buy all the tickets that are linked in your app?

I just linked tickets from undercover tourist. When I clicked link tickets it had me choose the name of the person for the ticket then just text in the numbers on the ticket.
So yes I would think you can as long as you have the numbers on her ticket and she is on your family friends list in my Disney Experience.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was wondering about.

You're also talking about two different things. Their Mom can go ahead and link the tickets to their account and as long as you're connected via family and friends you can go ahead and make FP and BG reservations for them. Who links the tickets to the account is irrelevant - it's the connections via F&F that controls who can make plans.

So his mom can go on his or her account and just link the tickets she bought right? Just so they are all on the same account?

Correct - as long as they're hooked in via friends and family. If she has set it up so that she can make FP for the kids, it doesn't matter how the tickets get linked to their accounts.

(But I also agree that you should ask any further DL questions on the other board!)

Exactly, the MDE has no idea who bought the tickets. All it cares about is that for the individual ticket, did it get linked to a particular person on an MDE account. After that how you link and share accounts doesn't matter.
