Linking ressies from MS and CRO

We have booked 2-1 bedrooms at OKW Sun - Thur beginning March 27. Because we have a 600+ point ressie next Oct. that has sucked up all of our points, the only way to afford Sat. and Fri. for the upcoming stay was to pay cash (Annual Pass rate) through CRO (MS did not have one of the days available). I asked MS and CRO to link the ressies, but now am worrying about the odds that we night have to move twice. We are treating friends and really want this stay to be nice for them. Has anyone been successful in not having to move when making ressies through both MS and CRO?

You may have to move twice. But if you work with the resort you are not very likely to have to do so. Just remind them when you check in and again near the end. You will have to physically check in 3 times though but you can go to the desk early in the morning and do the paperwork as long as you're not changing rooms. Otherwise you can leave your luggage with the resort and they will deliver it to your new room or you can pick it up when you can.

How much off was the AP rate? You maybe able to get the member rate through MS which is 25% off and they will link the reservations with a guarantee not to move. You don't even have to check-out/check-in again with the member rate. Depending on how much the difference is, it might be worth it.

My recollection when I called MS before was that one of the nights was not available through them for cash. Now that we are within the 60 days, maybe that has changed. The suggestion to call MS and check on availability of their cash rate is a great one.
