I know someone here will know how to handle this situation.:worship:

We have booked 2 rooms at the DL Hotel for 4 nights using points and then 2 nights using cash. I'm hoping to not have to switch rooms for the last few nights. DVC said they could not link them.

Should I (can I) fax, email or call the resort about this? If so, when?

Thank you for your help!

I was just going to post this same question for BCV! When I called he told me sometimes the rooms are in separate building etc, which I said I don't know how thats possible since beach club resort is a separate building than the villas.

The best thing is to ask at check in if you can remain in the same room. At the very least, you will need to check out and then check back in even so.

There will be no guarantee and you may find you will need to change rooms, especially since you may have booked a particular category on cash that may not be available to a DVC member..

Good luck! :)

I think the only thing you can do is tell them at check in that you will be doing the cash reservation afterwards and hope that you can stay in the same room.

And, on check out/in day, go down really early in hopes that you won't have to move the room.

Did you book BCV on cash via DVC Member Services? If so then you can request MS to make a reference, but there still will be no guarantee of keeping the same room. Still you will need at the very least to check out and then check back in (even if you can stay in the same room).
