Linking Hard Card Style Tickets to Previously Used Magic Bands???

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but my sister and I purchased "convention" style tickets for her upcoming conference later in Oct. All is linked correctly in "My Disney Experience", but we noticed card style tickets as opposed to new magic bands.

Could we link these cards to previous magic bands we've used? Both of us were in Disney earlier this year. Are we even able to do this?

If the MagicBands are linked to your MDE profile, they can access any tickets that are linked to the same profile.
