Linking DVC to Wife in MDE

Our DVC membership shows up under my account in MDE. I have my wife listed as a friend in MDE but DVC member doesn't show up for her on her MDE profile. Is there a way to have it show up for her too?

She would have to go into her MDE account, go to her profile, and add it under Memberships and Passes.

Is she just added to your MDE account so you can make plans for her or does she have her own MDE account and it is linked to yours as family & friends? I believe she will need her own log in for both MDE & DVC, but I am not sure on that.

I've been following your post and trying to think of a benefit to linking her DVC membership to MDE, and the only thing I can come up with is that if she has her own MDE account and her own DVC login, when she taps into the parks she'll get the purple circle and "Welcome Home!" -- maybe (many members will tell you it's not a sure thing).

She can easily log into your account (y'all can be logged in simultaneously if you'd like) to make plans (ADRs, FP, etc.) and could order from the Disney Store via your MDE account to get the DVC discount. She could view and purchase/download photos too via your MDE.

So, what functionality are you trying to achieve? I'll be the first to admit I'm likely to have overlooked something!

If your wife is on the deed, she should make her own MDE account, the one advantage I see is she could then click Show My ID, and get her membership card to show.

Where do you go to link your DVC membership to MDE? I have my reservations linked, but I could also link my membership card? I don’t see an option for that.

You don’t actually link the card. I think the system recognizes you as a DVC owner when you have your own account. I have never added anything specific.

In MDE go to Profile and then Memberships and Passes. There's a link to add DVC memberships.
