Linking ccs to magic bands

Is it possible to link different credit cards to different magic bands when I check in? I was hoping for a way to let my oldest be responsible for his own spending money without having to carry a wallet/gift card. Or can I connect his band to my card but set a spending limit? What are the best ways you have found for allowing children their own spending money? (He will be a few months shy of 6, but has been using his own money for toys and treats when we go out for the past couple years.)

You don't/can't connect credit cards to magic bands. When set up for purchases, the magic bands send the charges to your room. It isn't charged until the morning of checkout, or when you hit the room limit, which is based on the type of resort you are staying at. You can pay off your room balance at any time before the morning of checkout using other means (gift card, cash, different cc) if you don't want the charges to hit the card attached to your room.

I know I have asked this question and there are multiple answers our there...some say Yes some say no. Either way you will have to wait to get to Disney before you can find the correct answer.

Actually if you are a on-site resort guest, the front desk can associate a different credit card to each individual or some of the individuals on the reservation. It is not considered attaching a credit card to a Magic Band since that is not how Magic Bands work.

The individual front desk CM skills vary that's why there are so many different answers being posted. After the CC is assigned, I would suggest a small purchase the verify/validate that you are seeing the correct CC is charged for the MB used for the purchase.

Note: The room bill will also indicate a name for each purchase made by a MB (name assigned to the MB at Check-in or when customized via MDE before shipment)

I was told by the cast member that made my hotel reservations that you can connect a different credit card to each magic band if you like. You will have to set it up when you check in at the hotel.

Correct. Just like what @Dave006 said above, especially the caveats.
