Most reports are that this is available only through January 7. However, it may also be a test for a permanent offering. This report says it is NOT the same pizza served inside the restaurant.

Thanks for posting the link. I would not have cared about this at all if it weren't for the fact that the blogger showed pictures and reiterated that the pizza served is not the same pizza served inside Via Napoli. This looks like real, Roman-style al taglio pizza, which is exactly what I was hoping would come to the Italy pavilion before Via Napoli even opened. I hope that this variety of pizza stays as I vastly prefer it to the Neapolitan style.

I don’t think they could serve the same stuff at the window as they do inside because there are probably not enough of the wood burning ovens to make all the pizza needed for the TS and the pick-up window. Everyone would be waiting a really long time if those 3 ovens inside were doing all the pizza.

I wish they would build a few more wood-burning ovens for a Via Napoli CS!

Thanks for the link. We'll be at Epcot on the third and were hoping to try the pizza. Sorry to hear it isn't the same as inside the restaurant since we are still considering whether or not we want to dine there! But it doesn't look half bad and pizza is a good addition to the World Showcase quick service options so I hope they consider making it permanent.

I used a snack credit for the canoli when I was there on 24 Dec. I didn't ask about them taking CS credits, but I would think that if they accept snack credits for some things that they would probably accept CS credits for the pizza and a dessert. Not for sure, though.

The pizza window looks promising but was the $6.50 for one slice of pizza? If so oh my!!

I think it is very misleading since it is NOT the same pizza as they serve inside.

Basically people are paying outrageous prices for what they think is served inside! I don't think they should be allowed to fool people like that.
Unless there is a big sign saying this isn't the pizza you get at the TS.

"By the Slice" is no longer being offered at Via Napoli at this time.

Although it's not being offered anymore, why the heck would they charge $10 for a 20 oz Bud Light when you can go to any other place around World Showcase and get it for $5.50?! What a ripoff!
