Honestly, I don't think it was that great. A Little Bit Longer was better, IMHO.

I thought their CD before this one was the best. But then again, I've only listened to the 30 second clips on iTunes, not the entire songs.

I agree with Allie and Julie--A Little Bit Longer was better.

As much as I hate Miley, I must say I enjoy "Before The Storm".

The only other two I really enjoy are "Black Keys" and "Turn Right".

Personally, I prefer this album.
The last album was a big production and played up a lot, I think this one was very nonchalant.
It isnt as teenybopper as former albums, just a little more grown up but it still has the catchy lyrics that we all love in Poison Ivy, Paranoid, and What Did I Do To Your Heart.
If you really listen, with an unbiased opinion it is awfully good.

joes been very quiet with the whole taylor v.s. joe thing and think this was him time to get his say. i thought it was hysterical haha. and trust me its nothing against taylor!! i love taylor swift with all my heart but joe... that was really good! :]

Very nicely put, agree 100% on everything.
You can tell they've matured with this album. I like it better than ALBL, a lot of the songs on there felt rushed to me. It's probably my least favorite out of their 4 so far.

yeah ALBL was recorded on the tour bus so it didnt feel like it had the same quality of a recorded in an actual studio album and sounded rushed.

I heard the songs a couple days ago on youtube and from what I recall "Before the Storm" and "Hey Baby" were the 2 favorites. Although, "Black Keys" and "Turn Right" have their moments..

I got it today, and I love it! My favourite songs are Before the Storm and Turn Right. It is a great CD.

I've only listened to like maybe 2 songs? Paranoid and the one they did with Common. (blech.)
I haven't bought the cd. I don't think I will either.
From what I've heard from like the previews and whatnot, I think I like ALBL better.
But their lyrics are getting better and aren't so simple anymore.

 

[I Am What I Am]

I have to say, even though I love all 4 albums. I think this one is my favorite so far. Like Kara said, they lyrics are more grown-up but still have that catchy quality that has you singing them all day.


World War 3 is my favorite song from the album.

Black Keys is 2.
