Lines for Toy Story Mania

I like both Buzz and TSM, but I wish they would make it easier to hit the targets on Buzz.

I am curious how the lines have been during spring break.

We were there on Tuesday and I finally got to ride it! I've been trying since November to ride and the line has always been at least 60 minutes stretching way down the main pathway. We went around 2pm on tuesday and I'm guessing it was about a 30 minute wait but i didn't time it and i was so excited to see that the line looked relatively short that i didn't even look at the estimated wait time they had posted. DH rode it earlier in the day and he said the line was shorter in the afternoon than it had been earlier.

we were there over christmas break.....dec 26th-28th and we waited 40 mins midday.....it seemed a lot faster than that

We're going back the 2nd week of june adn im hoping that we'll hit it when its a shorter line

I wish there were fast passes!!! :worship:

They have FP for it in WDW, I can't figure out why they don't have it at DCA? Can anyone help me understand? :confused3

Also, I LOVE TSM, and I really don't care for Buzz Lightyear-I don't like that in BL you can't see where you're shooting-I'm just terrible at it. But I do like moving the car around as my husband is about to aim.:lmao: TSM is WAY more fun-I love it!

When we were at WDW last year, the FastPasses for TSM went CRAZY FAST. There were long lines to get FastPasses, and it seems like they were out of them by 10am (or perhaps noon at the latest).

As a general rule, DLR parks have a much lower percentage of FP attractions compared to the WDW parks. For example, WDW's Peter Pan, Winnie-the Pooh, Jungle Cruise, It's Tough to be a Bug, Star Tours, and Honey I Shrunk the Audience (although I'm not sure if it's still at HISTA) all have FP, whereas, DLR's versions do not.

Also, TSMM has a very high capacity and the line moves quickly. My guess is that the stand-by line at DHS for TSM moves MUCH slower compared to the line at DCA because they have to stop it every once in a while to accomodate the FP users.

TSMM at DCA does have Single Rider, whereas, DHS's version recently terminated their SR line I believe.

Yes, HISTA at Epcot still has FP.

Yes, TSMM at DHS terminated Single Rider last fall.

Universal Studios (in Florida) sells and/or offers passes that allow visitors to go to the front of the line. I believe WDW offers more attractions with FastPass in order to be more competitive with Universal Studios.

HTH :goodvibes
