Hi all, I am wondering if the lines are starting to calm down for this attraction? Looking forward to it next month but won't be arriving to Sea World until 10am or so and am wondering what to expect? Thanks so much!

Robin

It is still getting wait times of 45 - 60 mins. Best times to ride is first thing in the morning or last thing of the night. Also if it is raining it has no waits too. Watch the times you ride. If you go after Blue Horizons lets out or Clyde and Seamore you will have longer waits. Weekends are also longer. I visit SeaWorld 3 times a week so if you have questions let me know. I have been on Antartica over 65 times since it has opened. THe ride if ok but the end result the penguins are amazing and so worth seeing. The whole land is beautiful.

Thank you so much! My problem is I am going Saturday December 14th after running a 5k at Sea World in the early am. So I expect our post party won't be done until 10 or 11am and hoping it's not too too bad :)

My wife and I were down in Orlando last month and we visited Sea World. Our first visit was on Sunday, October 20th and the wait for the ride was about 70 minutes and that was around noon time as we did the dolphin show and then rode Journey To Atlantis. On that day, We didn't wait in line as we had unlimited visits for 14 days considering that we did Discovery Cove on the 18th of October, So we decided that we would come back before we headed home to Boston, Ma on the 28th of October. On Tuesday, October 22nd after we spent a few hours at Aquatica in the morning. We headed over to Sea World for the afternoon. We got there around 2 in the afternoon and we headed straight to the ride and it was only a 20 minute wait. Overall, I was not impressed with the ride at all, But my wife wanted to see the penguins and that is why we made a second visit to the park.

I was at SeaWorld with my mom and sis a little over a month ago. We waited in the line for the penguin ride was about 30 minutes. I can't remember exactly what time it was though; I think it was around 10:30-11 AM .:)

Thank you all! I'm getting giddy! One more question, has anyone ever eaten at Sharks Underwater Grill? I've done Dinner with Shamu a bunch of times but am thinking of mixing it up =)

We didn't eat ANYWHERE except for a snack in the middle of the day, so I can't help there. Sorry!:(
