Lines for Mission Space at EPCOT

We're deliberating between two flight times. DH is flying out for a business conference and DS & I are going along. This is the one ride he wants to get on, so he'll buy a one day ticket for that day (we'll get some kind of hoppers, still working on the details). If we got to the park by about 4pm, would we be likely to get on that (priority #1) and Test Track? I saw on other threads they're both open til 9. How bad are the lines? This would be on MLK day unfortunately! Thanks for help!

this past week ms was a walk on most of the time we were at epcot while test track had 30+ minute wait most of the time. i don't think a lot of people re-ride ms (i sure as heck couldn't lol), so you should be able to get on in the evening without much trouble on any normal day. not sure about mlk day.

DH & DS have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for this ride. That is also in the middle of the afternoon. So far our expierence has been it doesn't build the crowd Test Track does.

Mrs Uncleromulus has gotten on that ride (Mission SOace) twice--in May and in October. Both times mid-to late morning. No line whatsoever outside and a brief wait inside.

I have not ridden it, but DH has been on several times and our experience was the same as kilee. Two of the times were during Spring break, when it should have been very busy. He didn't go on in July when we were at WDW, but the listed wait was 5 minutes. It's just not that popular.
Test Track has always been busy. When we rode in March, we had almost a 20 min wait in the fastpass line.

We rode MS yesterday and it was a walk on while Test Track track had a 40 minute standby line. But you can never tell!

I don't think you can tell the popularity of Mission:Space by the short wait times. M:S eats up crowds.

Test Track is a slower loading ride, that is what causes the lines to be longer.

We walked onto Mission Space 3 times in a row last week. But this was a very low crowd day...

We did not go on Test Track. We are not big fans of Test Track and the line did look pretty long.

DH and I were at WDW last week and rode Mission Space three times over two different days. Basically walk on every time, but, as noted, Test Track often had 30-45 minute wait. We fast passed Test Track, but Mission Space never seemed to have much of a wait at all.

When we were there in May, MS had an hour long wait in the afternoon. It is a popular ride but I think it loads fast and takes a lot of riders at once so the line moves quick most of the time. -Stephanie

If you go in the evening... the lines are considerably shorter. I think stand-by lines were about 30 min when we were there.

The lines really vary from day to day. Yesterday (Sunday) we were at Epcot. DS rode MS around noon. He had a five minute wait. Test track had a 35 minute wait in stand-by and 15 min for single rider. Usually we see up to 90 minutes for test track and 45 min for Mission Space on Saturdays.
