So let me see... a family of three... Josephine, Joe, and Joe Jr. want to ride Dumbo. Josephine and Jo Jr get in line together, Joe lets 24 people get in line then he gets in line.
Steven and his daughter Stephanie get in line behind Joe Sr. Josephine & Jo Jr ride, then on the way out of the ride, Josephine hands Jr. to Joe Sr. Stephanie being the little inquisitive child, says "Mommy, why does that boy get to ride twice and I haven't ridden once?" Do I have this "unfairness" right?
Let's change this up a little bit... Josephine & Joe Sr actually have another child Jasmine. All three want to ride BTMRR. Joe Jr. is too little. Being the savy guests, they get FPs for BTMRR and go do something else (ride Dumbo?). Meanwhile, Steven & Stephanie get in the standby line.
The FP return time comes up and Josephine, Joe Sr, Jasmine and Joe Jr go to
the FP return and ask for a baby swap pass. Josephine & Jasmine go through
the FP line and get seen by Stephanie (it must be the matching Disney shirts
). Josephine & Jasmine ride, exit, then Joe Sr goes through the FP
line with Jasmine. Stephanie is almost to the loading spot and sees the
matching shirts again. "Mommy, why does that girl get to ride twice and I
haven't ridden once?"
Also... there are two food carts... one for popcorn & one for Dole Whips. A
couple love both. One gets in the popcorn line & buys two popcorns. The
other gets in the dole whip line and buys two Dole Whips. Someone gives
them a dirty look when they get together... "families should wait in lines
together!"![]()
Your scenario would be a good contender for the "Who's on First" routine.

You do bring up a good point, which is that a single parent with a small child cannot take advantage of the rider swap option like a 2 parent family can. I think you've got a valid point and should therefore immediately bring this to the attention to the powers that be at WDW.

If she had parents that were smart and hung out with us DISers, she too could have been back at the pool by noon instead of standing in line at her 2nd ride for the day.
