Someone here tell me how to handle this problem: In our situation, I have 2 girls that are legally blind. One of which has no peripheral vision or depth perception. For her, we HAVE to sit in the middle of the theater, for both girls we have to sit in the front, or they cannot see. We did get a guest services pass last 2 visits, but it never fails that we get very ugly looks, rude comments, and people even trying to push us down the aisle because they just "do not know." I suppose they do not understand because we do not have canes and seeing eye dogs! I also do not always have time to explain to everyone in the hustle and bustle of rushing in to get a seat. You all know how it goes trying to get into the theater.
Last visit, on 2 separate occasions, we showed our pass to a CM who totally ignored what was on our card, put us in the handicapp lane and we ended up in the very BACK of the theater. We ended up waiting until the next show and then having to shove our way to the front! There simply has to be a better way for us!
We finally gave up on shows all together because it was so frustrating!
