Thanks Marie! I am gonna keep trying.

Real quick check in tonite cuz I get up at 5am.

Food was so-so. Started out good with eggs abd turkey bacon
bean and bacon soup for lunch (nutrisystem)
I had some whole wheat crackers with cheese (6) for a snack
oh and some of those little chocolate donuts (oops)
I forgot about dinner


no chips

exercise - thought I could walk cuz I would get home at 6:30 but when I did I had to take the boy to his gf house so it was 7:30 and dark when I got home. I guess I could walk in the dark, but I decided against it and just did the 60 mins stairmachine instead.

I only got 30 mins walking in today. I took my boy driving today after work and it took awhile. Its a stick shift and hes having a bit of trouble getting the hang of it, but he will eventually!

No chips.

Im sleepy and gotta get up at 4.

60 mins stairmachine today. Rainy and cold so no walking. I hate this yucky weather! No chips.

I made chicken and rice for dinner. Yummy!

BF (well used to be anyway) called so I had to listen to him whine for a couple of hours. Blah!

I swear I think the no chip thing is backfiring. I think I am eating more to compensate.

gotta get up early, my boy has to sell doughtnuts tomorrow. Krispy Kreme. I am NOT on a no Krispy Kreme challenge!

I DID eat some Krispy Kremes. :guilty: But other than that I didnt do too bad. Leftover chicken and rice for dinner. Bologna and crackers for lunch. No chips.

I did 60 mins on the stairmachine tonite while watching Harry Potter.

If I get thru the exercise challenge for Oct, its time to start the diet again, with a vengeance. I think I am ready. :thumbsup2

You may be struggling a bit with your diet, but you are doing WAY better than me.... not that it takes much to do better than me these days :sad2:

60 minutes on the stairmachine is actually humanly possible? Now there's a surprise. Way to go!!! Hope the rest of your weekend was a good one. Okay , I dont want to make it sound like I'm superwoman...I split it up into 2 sessions, 30 mins, break, 30 mins. Today I did great. 30 mins on the stairmachine before work and 60 mins walking at work (2 30 min sessions). So 90 mins for me today!

Food was good as well, mostly. No Krispy Kremes even tho there are some sitting on the counter. Egg and turkey bacon for breakfast, some wheat crackers for a snack, a banana for lunch, beef stew for dinner (nutrisystem leftover so it was only 180 cals). I had some of those animal crackers for a snack at work, I am gonna have a fudgesicle later. It will be around 1100 cals total today. I will start logging it on the nutrisystem site again soon because it adds up the cals for me. I have been lazy lately about doing that, and having to cut and paste it back here.

Things seem to be getting slightly better at work, or else I'm just getting used to it. It doesnt seem as bad. I only have 4 1/2 years anyway. I have been looking at houses and condos in the city, just daydreaming a little, kinda doing some pre-research.

Okay, my team, the University of Louisville, is ranked 5th in the country. On thursday we play West Va, who is ranked third. If we beat them, and win out the rest of the year, we might actually (dare I say it) be playing for the national championship. This is so wild! This is basketball country! We are used to basketball, but football is new to us. Well not new, we just havent been good before. It is so cool! So we are wearing Cardinal clothes all week to get psyched for the game. I had to go shopping to find shirts that I could wear to work. On thursday we are supposed to wear "blackout" shirts. (our colors are red and black). They want everyone in black for the game. The blackout shirt doesnt meet dress code requirements but I'm gonna wear it over another shirt and hope for the best!

So what I want you all to do is cheer for the cards this thursday! I know why would you do that? Well why not (unless of course youre a WVa fan then Ill understand) We need good Karma! Go Cards!

Okay, first the good, 50 mins exercise. Next the crappy, food. I did well at work, but when I got home I got hungry and snacked and had halloween candy. :guilty:

So I will try again tomorrow. I really need to figure out how to manage the afternoons when I get up ao early, by afternoon Im starving and tired. I need to figure it out. Please dont anyone tell me to eat celery or grapes, that just doesnt get it for me.

(my son just got a call from his grampy.(my dad) He has tickets to the home games and takes Kevin with him when Kev can go. Back in august when he asked me if Kev could go tonite I said no because its a school nite and he had band practice. I didnt realize this would be such a big game. Tickets were going for up to 2000$. Anyway needless to say Kev was ticked that he wasnt there (my brother used his ticket). Anyway, grampy just called and asked if he wanted to go to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME if we get to go! Well duh. Lets keep the karma going so Kev can go!)

Thanks! Its very exciting but we still arent getting any respect! Those sports people just cant stand that we won, they only want the SEC and Big 10 to win I guess!
