Limited Too to transition to Justice Stores

I hope they will accept all of these limited too gift cards that my dd just received from her birthday!!!

I sure hope ours isn't one on the closing list. I wouldn't mind getting a Justice.

My DD was not happy. Although the Justice stores I have been in are very similar in the "accessories" they sell. We will definitely miss Limited Too - but looking forward to lower prices!

I have done the calculations comparing the prices of LTD2 to Justice. Since LTD2 offers much better discounts and a larger amount off for too bucks, I actually get more clothes for the same amount of money. I will admit though that it requires discipline to really maximize the use of coupons and too bucks. For someone who is not a disciplined shopper Justice is much easier.

My daugther prefers Justice in general and i feel the clothing at Justice is a little less mature and more appropriate for a 10 year old. So we will be happy with more Justice stores.

That being said I agree you can really get more at Limited too if you use the coupons and % off cards with too bucks. I amnaged to get DD a bathing suit in early june for only $12!

We don't have any Justice stores nearby so I don't have any experience with them. Maybe they will incorporate some of the "too bucks" type of coupons when the change happens. I love that there is even a store that caters to young girls so as long as it's not being closed completely, I'm happy.

I am not shocked. The quality of Ltd Too clothing has gone WAY downhill. We rarely shop there anymore. I find the colors fade quick in the wash and stuff is coming apart. It doesn't wear well at all. I bought my DD a $45 swimsuit and after 4 times in the pool the color has faded so badly it looks gross and I wont let her wear it in public (it looks like a bad thrift shop find! LOL). Their prices are way too high and if I do buy stuff, it is ONLY in the sales!

They already have them just for less money. Usually for every $50 ($40??) you spend you get $15 off another order of $40. The most recent promotion I recieved double cards so for every $50 (or maybe $40, I cannot remember) I spent I got two $15 cards (still have to spend $40/card). At the same time LTD2 offers a $25 off $50 AND $15 off $50 (for a different time frame). They also gave the double cards for the most recent promotion (total of $80 value of toobucks).

I use a 20% off coupon at Justice to get the cards and a 25% off coupon at LTD2 to get the too bucks. All in all the LTD2 ends up around the same price (considering their original prices are higher). Like a PP I hit the jackpot on bathing suits for next year. They are the only ones I buy for DD9 b/c it is the only store that fits her properly for her build. I have had no problems with them holding up and she lives in them. The only problem I have is the pads fall out in the wash.

DD-15 will still buy in Ltd2, but took one look at Justice and walked out. We have both within 5 minutes of each other - one in mall and other in strip center.

She's a big fan of Ltd2 undies and camis, and that they carry junior sizes. Thought the stuff in Justice was junk and only in "kid" sizes. Guess that's another store to drop off the list.....

Noooooooo....just when DD7 can finally wear LTD2 like her big sis did they decide to close???
I love my LTD too salespeople, sales, and merchandise, though I have seen a decline in quality of a few things recently.

Somebody up there really doesn't like me...:headache:

did you try to return the swimsuit? They will give you the same one or a different one wt the same price. If you have the resiept they will give you a full credit of what you bought it for. I have 2 girls one 12 and the other 8 I have necer had a problem w/ there bathing suits. There flipflops is a different story. I keep the reciept and they will exchange them.

hum, we have a justice I havent been there yet. Of course it happens when dd is obessed with Limited Too clothing..

We have both stores here and prefer to buy from Ltd2. The big advantage is that they carry 1/2 sizes which you don't find in many "trendy" or cute clothes!

WEll I for one am not a happy camper. We get all my DD 10 clothes at LTD2. The sizes fit perfectly, the quality is great, the styles are great and the clothes really hold up.
I am not really interested in lower prices to tell the truth on a new line of clothes. We have made out well on what w have gotten at ltd2. I don't like change. She is not quite tall enough for the jeans at pac sun which we like for older dd 11 and while the jeans from gap and old navy are great, the shirts and other clothes leave alot to be desired. SHe is slim so hard to fit and we don't shop at Pennys so not sure what our real options are orther thn gap and old navy for jeans which she wears year round. I guess I will see how it goes but I better stock up with the two bucks I have at the end of august.

Justice is a sister store to LTD2, so I don't think you're going to notice much difference in quality. We have clothes from both places, and generally prefer Justice because it is the same clothes but a little cheaper, but we have a LTD2 here in town, and we have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest Justice. Actually, our swimsuits from Justice have held up fine, and the ones from LTD2 were ready for the trash after just a couple weeks! The other thing I like about Justice is some of the styles aren't as "mature" looking. They offered some swimsuits that didn't have the deep V cut in front to accentuate things that l'd prefer my girls keep under wraps. Justice carries the larger sizes just like LTD2, XXL is a 20. I think my girls will be excited about the change.

I have noticed a serious decline in quality at Ltd Too as well. The styles are sized for little girls but look at teenage not tweens. So many of the tops were skin tight and low cut and they really seem to cater to a much younger crowd now with adult style. DD outgrew it at 10 because she felt like the oldest girl in the store while shopping, I was fine with it because the stuff didn't last. They did have some good sales though.

We love Justice! As a previous poster stated, the clothes at our store aren't as racy as the ones we've seen at Limited Too. We've gotten some awesome deals at Justice too. DD(10) got all of her school clothes there this year. While their prices aren't tremendously cheaper, they are still somewhat cheaper than LTD2 and just as cute.

I love Justice....it's DD's favorite. It's the trend right now to have your birthday parties there as well. I typically shop the clearance and sales racks and right now I have two cards which are buy $40, get $15.00 off and 3 cards for 20% off my entire purchase.

I bought her two bathing suits for next year at 50% off and then got the additional 20%. They're clothes are very good quaility. My only problem is when I go into the store I almost go into shock with the colors and amount of stuff...it takes time for me to absorb it all! Their clothes are just so darn cute!
