What is Big Thunder Mountain Jamboree? Is this something I have to book reservations for?
Or will we just stand in line to meet these characters as we do with most others?

We will be fortunate enough to be there the 13th and 14th. We are very excited to have such a rare opportunity.

It's an area next to the BBQ restaurant near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (the coaster). They've held different things there like the halloween and Christmas celebrations. No reservations are required. It's pretty easy to find-right in between BTMR and Fantasyland.

Cool event, but I'm kind of "eh" on the selected characters. I will have to stop by just in case the "and more" are anyone fantastic!

We got into the Dumbo event, where we saw the movie and got a free Dumbo popcorn bucket. It is SO CUTE. I love it. So happy I finally got to be a part of a passholder event, since they often distribute bracelets during the morning when I am at work.

I admit , I am STOKED that this is going on during our week there as
Robin Hood is my all time FAVORITE..and we will be there from the 6th- 11th so I am definitely going to go out of my way to enjoy this opportunity.

I think it's just that - an aoppurtunity to enjoy something extra and I'm sure it will be enjoyed by many who aren't even aware of this "extra".

I understand that because this is a "surprise" event, so there is probably no presidence for what the schedules of the meet & greets will be , HOWEVER for those of you that will be there earlier in the week , could you possibly post on here what times the M&G's take pkace on the day you visit? We will be there on the 13th & 14th, and Im so thrilled that we will get to experience this event, but I was trying to figure it into a basic touring plan....TIA for any input!!!

Long lost Disney friends will be appearing from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm each day, except for Saturday (4/13) when the location will close at 5 pm.

AP's will get to go into the jamboree area 30 minutes before regular park guests for photos. This is a pretty sweet perk. Making me want to drive up more and more!!
