I find this mystifying. Haha... You're complaining about extras that they don't have to give us? What am I missing here?
So, let's review the chronology. Disney announces, with great fanfare, their Limited Time Magic promotion. Something new each week - and some special events such as the Golden Horseshoe, long long friends week, special holiday events, etc.
But there's no way to know what's coming since they don't announce things much in advance. So, we end up deciding to go during our school's spring break (this coming week). But of course won't know what we'll get. But we were certainly enthused by last week's Easter activities with the rare sighting of Roger Rabbit and all the other things.
Do we get to see special characters? No
Do we get a special show? No
Do we get a special musical experience? No
Do we get a special menu item? No
Do we get a special ride experience? No
We get a merchandise opportunity (and not a very good one at that).
And are we coming during a slow week during off season? NO! We're going during SPRING BREAK week when the crowds are super high.
I'm thinking of three letters, which you can probably guess.
It's true - no guarantee. But it's not like Disney didn't set at least some modest expectations for us. Expectations that in no way did Disney come close to.
