does anyone have a site or list of limited options on the few citywalk restaurants included in the meal deal that you pay the $5 extra for?

If you go into Universal site, then go into tickets it gives you info about say for example 2 park 1 day meal deal..click purchase then the next page it will give you options for $5.00 extra dinner entree..ONLY FOR CERTAIN DAYS OF THE MONTHS..BLACKOUT DAYS...Good for BoB Marleys, Pat O'Brien, Latin Quarter, and Pastamore..Includes coffee, tea, or soft drink.

I am curious too....It says good for 1 dinner ENTREE...

Does anyone know if the dinner entree is LIMITED MENU????

Thanks in advance....Do you think it is worthwhile?

I know it is supposed to be limited but twice we have eaten at Latin Quarter with it and they gave us a regular menu. I asked about the limited menu and they said don't worry about it. I know at Pastamore it was limited- pretty much spaghetti, meatball sub and a few other choices - but everything was great! The last time we were there we got the food to go at Latin Quarter and it was a HUGE amount of food- it is my husband's favorite place to eat at Citywalk.

I do believe (as of last year) the menu at the CityWalk restaurants was "limited" on the MD....in other words, if you planned on eat at any CW restaurant on the Meal Deal, you were choosing off a special menu/list....not the regular menu..... Don't know if it's changed, but doubt it....CW restaurants do a great business and don't need the MD. I think it started out as a 'test' thing for when the parks closed early....guessing it won't be available at peak times/park open late.

SO.....is this CW Meal Deal a good deal? :)
This is my take:
There are a number of catches, however. First, drinks are not included, although you can purchase a “Sipper Cup” entitling you to unlimited soft drinks for $9.57. No full-service restaurants are included and the list of participating restaurants changes seasonally, so you may not be happy with the selection. Kids must order from a special Meal Deal kids menu. You are limited to one entree and one pretty boring dessert each pass through the line. You can’t game the system by ordering a whole pizza. And so it goes. Sometimes, you can get a two-park option for a bit more that includes a free entree at participating CityWalk restaurants, a slightly better deal.

Aside from the fact that the Meal Deal encourages us to overeat and offers only fast food options, I’m not convinced that the savings are all that great. On the other hand, if you like fast food fare and can eat three or four meals . . . well, you know who you are.
