Limit Teen Access in MDE?

I’ve created individual My Disney Experience accounts for my 13- and 17-year-old sons so they can view our trip plans. However, I noticed that they seem to have the ability to modify or cancel reservations. I’d prefer that they can only view the plans without being able to make any changes.

Anyone know if there is a way to limit their permissions so they can see everything (like park passes, dining, and Lightning Lanes) but not modify or cancel anything?

Unless things have changed, I've never been able to modify or cancel a dining reservation my husband made.

I don’t think there is any way to limit what they can do if they have an account. You can block them from charging things using their bands, though.

Disney totally needs to come up with a family/teen MDE option! I definitely want the teen I travel with to have her own MDE and be able to manage more planning when we are on shared trips.

Hmmmm… I made both of my boys accounts on their phones with their own passwords etc and they are fully able to modify all the plans I have made.

Go to YOUR friends and family area of MDE. Click 'Edit' under their name. Turn this off...

I would think that should do it.

This is on the MDE website. I didn't look in the app.

Personally, given how tech savvy my boys were when they were teens, I’d be more worried tha I would be the one to accidentally do something in MDE. Sure, maybe limit the 13yo but if an older teen is responsible enough to hold a driver’s license, I’d be fine trusting that they’d be responsible not to goof something up in MDE.

It would let me go through the steps (I think) for the dining, but then it would yell at me and say "only the lead can make these changes..." or something like that.
