Lime Green ribbons/paint swatches

Hey, the pins are a GREAT idea! I'll be making one, and writing DIS on it...but I'll also be attaching a few strips of curling ribbon too. Tradition, you know....LOL
I do want to add though, that if you are just wearing lime green and there is not distinctive "DIS" factor, I'll not be saying hello to anyone. Three time on our last trip, I approached people with lime green shirts, hats, etc. and all three times they looked at me like I was nuts. Ooooh, no, not doin' THAT again. MY DH was soooo embarrased he walked away.

iwannabeminnie, we are staying at CSR (first time to stay on WDW property). Mainly we'll be at Epcot for the F&W Festival. Looking forward to DATW (drinking around the world). We might go to Spectro on 15th. We'll be playing it by ear, or should I say wine glass. I always look for green ribbons, and now I'll be looking for lime green mickey's. If you see me, please say hello. Unless of course I've been drinking wine too long and making a fool of myself. Just kidding!

ncbyrne, the first trip I took after finding this website, I also said hi to a few people in lime green shirts. NO MORE! My DH also walked away from me. Now I just look for ribbons or mickey heads.

I scanned the mickey head paint chip and added our first names and my DIS screen name. Since we are a part of a large group that's cruising in two weeks, I added our group name also. I bought the pins from Michaels and cut out large circles so they wouldn't move around.

I also made pins, printed my DIS name on clear laminate and put it on the Mickey head. Then laminated the whole thing. Bought some pinbacks from Walmart and viola, instant pins. Also put one on the computer and blew it up to letter size. Then printed it onto the magnetic sheets for printers, now I have great magnets for the side of the car as we are heading down I-95. Anyone driving down Christmas Week, look for us on the highway.
