Okay, I'm the same crazy lady trying to decide if I should surprise my kids day of or a little beforehand and guess what?? About 2 hours ago my DD14 randomly starts talking about next time we go to WDW. I would be suspicious that she knows something but it came up after one of those Disney Side commercials.
She said she read that you can only see Lilo at O'hana now and not in the parks (we saw her at AK in 2011 or 2012). She actually called it "that restaurant in that Hawaiian hotel that we ate in". We ate at Kona cafe in 2011.
So, first off is this true? Lilo & Stitch (believe it or not) was one of her favs and now DD6 is getting addicted. Watches them over and over. So now you know who they keep the Stitch ride open for... 
So LO hears this and says "well we have to eat there next time we go then!" Guess where I don't have booked? I got the LO CRT breakfast! But, no O'hana. I had it on my original list but DH nixed it because he is not a breakfast person, and even though I said yeah but DD14's favorite character is Stitch and we've never been he talked me into Chef Mickeys for dinner. To that I said, yeah but Dis'ers hate CM's and then he countered with Fab 5 and monorail and he won. 
We also have Coral Reef booked because he has sentimental memories of eating there with his parents when he was a teenager. So, I'm a guinea pig, to the frowned upon eating places.
So, I did what any respectable mother does and jumped online and tried to get an O'hana ressie. I got one for 12/18 @ 8:40am. I am shocked I got one at all. Only available time of my 10 day trip, for now. This doesn't conflict TOO bad with my schedule even though not the most convenient place. We will be heading to DHS that day from CSR (but we have our own car). I have a TSMM FP for 9:30-10:30 but this will be second day at DHS and we should already have a few of these under our belt. I have a FP for the other day and Rope Drop plans. If DH says go for it (keep it), then I can always see if I can change time on FP.
