Okay guys, name the YOUNGEST and/or OLDEST visitor (that you personally know or are related to) to WDW:

I'll begin....
My "Guela" (abuelita, which is Spanish for "little Grandma"!) ~ our DFamily took her there when she was 79 years YOUNG!!

I was pregnant with doth DDs on different trips to WDW, but did not know it until about a week after each trip. :teeth: :o

My grand-daughter was 4 months old when we took her for the first time.

Pokie.

.....technically, I don't think the 2 "Preggos" count. The person has to be "out and about";) !!

Pokie ~
Four months -- cool!!

C'mon guys, any others??!?!?!

DS was also 4mo his first trip

...who's gonna get "braggin' rights" for Oldest/Youngest Visitor to WDW???

Here is my oldest/youngest WDW visitor story, I have this on my profile on the "Meet the Team" section here on this site.

We were staying at the Poly, me, my husband, my then 3 year old and 7-month old. Every morning while my husband and kids were still sleeping, I would go for a walk around the lovely grounds. And each morning I would see this very old lady sitting on her balcony drinking tea. She must have been close to 100 years old. I would study her face as I jogged by and wondered what her life must have been like, the fact that she was at WDW was facinating to me. I made a mental note to paint her portrait when I got home, as she made such an impression on me. We would always exchange hellos, but that was about it. Then on our last night at WDW, we went to the beach at the Poly to watch the fireworks. I looked over and saw this lovely old woman sitting in a chair with her family. Of course this was my opportunity to go speak with her. It turned out she was 97 years old and had been coming to WDW every other year with her family for the past 20 years. She owned just about every Disney movie ever made, and was a huge fan. She was just so very kind, and so very interesting. My baby started crying and fussing, and she asked if she could hold him. She eventually rocked him to sleep. I took a picture of them, I was so touched, and when I returned home I painted her portrait holding my son. It actually hangs in our living room and reminds me of the “Circle of Life”.

(sorry so long, but I thought it an appropriate time to share this story of the old and young in WDW!)

Are you discriminating against preggos???? ;) If you are going to put "out and about" restrictions on your question then youngest DD was 6 months on her first visit. Oldest DD was 3 1/2 on her first visit which was coincidentally the same visit as her sister!

I was going to say DH was the youngest, but then I realized that some friends of ours took their DD-- she's 7 now. I think she might have first gone when she was 5.

Oldest would be probably some DISers I've met or otherwise my sister who went when she was 45.

Well, I won't get "bragging rights" but my DS (now 10) was five months old the first time he went to WDW. It was the beginning of December, 1993 and he also sat on Santa's lap for the very first time that trip. Santa was at the Disney Village Marketplace.
(Do they still have Santa come to Downtown Disney, we haven't been down in December for several years?) I have some great photos of him with Santa. My older DS (now 13) was an "old guy" at 8 months old during his first trip to Disney World in 1990.

On the older end, we took my father-in-law to the Studios when he was 76 years old and he rode TZTOT with DH. I had to give the old guy a lot of credit. I rode it just once and vowed never again!

My DGD was just 3 weeks when my DD & SIL drove down to meet us, so we could see the new baby. Mostly we walked around Epcot's World Showcase and held the baby, it was wonderful.

Our last trip my youngest was 5 months old. We did have an old lady with us (my mil) and though she is old I dont think its any record winning old ;)

So far it's "3 weeks" and "97 years" !! Keep em' coming!!

My oldest DD was 4 when we first took her to WDW. I was 7 mos pregnant with DS at WDW and then his first actual trip was when he was 6 mos old. My youngest DD was 6mos old on her first trip, which my parents joined us, and my Dad was 81 at the time. We had a blast!!!!!!:smooth:

Both of my grandmothers have gone on different trips to WDW with us. If I did my math right, I think one was 72 on the trip and the other one was 71.

Both of my grandmothers will be coming to WDW for my wedding in December, so they will be 87 and 76, and still going strong!

We went when I was pregnant with DD, then again when she was 6 months.
