anyone stayed here? I tried doing a search and nothing came up

I just heard of Liki Tiki today. My mom asked me to check it out, bc it is a possible place to stay for our 2012 Thanksgiving trip.:cool1:

I would also like some reviews !

We stayed there last Feb. It was okay. In terms of price, it was fantastic for a 2 bedroom condo with w/d and a kitchen. I think we paid $80 per night.

The decor was really late-80's (which didn't really bother us either) and slightly worn, but really clean. The one thing that did bother me were little kitchen bugs. Not quite ants, but I couldn't identify them.

They weren't super pushy about their time share. We got the spiel at the "parking voucher" desk for a "free breakfast" and they left messages on our voice mail 2-4 times over the week.

We didn't participate in any "festivities" at the resort and concentrated on the Orlando activities.

Our family has stayed here several times over the last few years. We really enjoy it because it is not on the main strip...which gets quite busy, love the size of the units, the resort has a laid back feel which is what keeps bringing us back, there is a Publix and Liquor store just down the street, a new Super Target, Applebees, Longhorns and Bahama Breeze opened recently nearby, and Disney parks are within 10-15 minutes. We have never had a problem with cleanliness and like that the resort itself is not huge. There is a zero entry pool with slides for kids which kept our kids very busy over the years.

We find this to be a very family friendly resort. There are always newer and bigger resorts being developed that offer the latest greatest options. We feel at home here and keep coming back.

Have fun making your decision and planning your trip!

thanks

can you tell me if these are one story(as far as the unit itself)? and if we do get a 2nd story, do they have elevators? we are taking my mom who has mobility issues. Is there a walk in shower? she can't get into a tub

Did it take you long to get to the parks?

is a good site to go to and check out what ever resort/hotel you are considering staying at. They usually have up to date reviews and pictures. All you need to do is put in the name and City of the place you are considering. They also will give you comparison prices too if you wanted to see if you were getting a great deal or not.

Hey, I was on here looking for the answer to this question...anyone?
THANKS!

Liki Tiki does have elevators. Most of their buildings have 4 floors including ground level units. There are accessible units. I recommend calling them and letting them know you need a handicapped accessible unit. They are very accommodating. In a one and two bedroom unit, the master bathroom has a step in shower, but I would request an accessible unit so all bathrooms would be universally accessible.
