Likelihood of Frozen Summer Fun Being extended?

I listened to Shannon Albert's most recent (yesterday) podcast from wdwprepschool on my commute this morning and she said that it is a rumor but a well-placed source that frozen summer fun is going to be extended and extended for a long time. Hopefully announcing soon as the sept 7 end date is near! Makes sense with so much else being closed! I am hoping this is true!

I know to take everything a CM says with a grain of salt, but we recently had to reschedule our trip from September to February because of a surgery that I just found out I have to have and I called BBB to reschedule my daughter's appointment and I mentioned how it just about killed me to give up our A&E fastpass and she mentioned that they just opened the Ice Palace Boutique and, while it was scheduled to close in early September, she had heard that it was likely to be extended for a while past that. So that's another thing.

The boutique I could see being extended. I just don't know about everything being extended.
