I still only can do about .00009% of what Excel is probably capable of, but it's enough to make a pretty slick overly OCD type spreadsheet for my purposes.

Glad you getting your dining worked out; but it sure looks like a complicated situation to me!

Woohoo for 9 months and the moving up! I'm having so much fun following your ptr.

Maroo..Try to rest up this weekend and get rid of that fever! You goose..a fever is never normal..and I know you know that . I completely understand the snow thing, we're getting some as I type, and are very excited about it!

Someone made me a spreadsheet for our 07 trip and I just edit it now. So I guess I kinda can use it...

Specialized weapons? The TC3 is adding more ammo to our arsenal everyday. I ordered a few clothes from Penny's this week, Bekka is working on the bling, gifties have been cheerfully crafted, and financial backing has been added. We are becoming an army of skill and precision- and we're gonna look GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

I thought 9 months out you were adding to your arsenal by eating burritos, baked beans, broccoli, and fried food? :lmao::lmao:

If you have someone financially backing you and they are looking to back someone else, let me know! ;)

9 months............you can think of it as a pregnancy.

I saw that too on Saturday afternoon. I"m sure I leaked!!! Yessiree!!

I saw it on the "approved snack list", and immediately added it to my spreadsheet!! :woohoo: Thanks!! (GB, did you see this??!!)

That would be good, except none of mine ever went beyone 35 weeks, some sooner. I could have a premature trip, but then I'd be there in August. :scared1:

HA! Funny thing is, I did eat all that (except the baked beans- they were pureed) this weekend. :lmao: My house was definitely the Casa del Roaring Thunder.

I'll talk to the powers that be. I"m sure they could arrange to get you as far as your local airport. :rotfl2:

My sentiments exactly.

Winkers. you're too much.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Isn't she?!!

August is good. I'll be there in August.

Not that early is good but 42 kind of bites...

just sayin

i have a client that just returned from disney on saturday and she said that she was told that you can no longer use this as a snack credit on the DDP because it's over $4. now i don't know for sure that that is applicable everywhere they're sold but i can't imagine it wouldn't apply everywhere. :headache: the annoying edicts of the DDP strike again!!!

i just wanted to make sure you knew that they were still around at WDW. looks like you might have to pay OOP for them though.

I'd pay $5 OOP- They sound THAT good to me! Anyway, DDP or no, I'm all over these tasty gems. (At least they sound tasty)

just as long as you're laughing WITH me.;)

WITH is definitely the operative word we're working with here. ;)

Picking up where I last left off, it is time to give you an idea of my first impressions of Florida. Having never been there before , I had no inkling of what to expect, except I knew for certain there were alligators and snakes to be found. Believe me when I tell you, I searched high and low for them every chance I got. I never did see one.

Our week of "job interviews" was spent near the Orlando Airport at a lovely little campground called Lake Whipporwill KOA. If you ever have a need to camp in the Orlando area and are looking for a clean, family-friendly place to hangout, AND support a "good cuase" at the same time, you will always be welcome at Lake Whipporwill. I think even Jordan would give the "comfort stations" a high enough rating.

During our week at the KOA, I noticed some peculiarities about Florida. Although it is gone now, the KOA used to sit beside and orange grove. Having had fresh squeezed OJ each morning, I can attest to the fact that FL grows some mighty fine liquid sunshine. I can also confirm that Florida grows some of the largest and scariest roachy-looking things ever to roam God's green earth on 6 legs. These beasts of lore and fame- the ever-present Palmetto Bugs- were everywhere in plague proportions! I remember thinking that Moses was possibly calling down the 11th disaster on Narcoosee Rd.

Lastly, I can also say for certain it can, and does, get butt-cold in Florida. The last day of our interviews was 1/2 free. The kids and I wanted to swim in the lake ( I guess I wasn't too afraid of alligators until the 2008 trip (see post #1 in the "Crazy" trip link below))!! NO WAY!! It was like 40 below, and so windy the white caps made the lake look like it was frosted with buttercream icing. I should have clued in right there that I had woefully under-estimated the weather for our excursion to Disney World. It would be an expensive oversight not long after this foiled day of fun.

Sometime during this same week, I don't remember which one, we had a free evening. The conference coordinators put together a list of fun stuff to do around the area, but being that family was with us, we opted to head out with them and do our own thing. My grandparents had come into town to see us for the day, and we were happy to do something fun with them. My dad had heard about this "place" called Downtown Disney, so he suggested we head over there to see what it was all about. I'd never heard of it before, but just having the word "Disney" trailing at the end of it made me happier than an alligator seeing feet dangling from the surface of a lake.

Ten years ago we were tightwads; well, truth be told we were poor tightwads, so we ate what was "free"ly provided at the Base before heading over to DTD. There would be no Earls, no Fultons, no Raglan Rd. for us. But there would be magic.....

Had you been scared to death and praying not to see an aligator or snake...they would have been everywhere!

I think I remember something about that in the bible.......or was it murphey's law?
