Okay the deposit has been made so the trip is now official. Me, my fiance, my mom and my brother will be at WL from 5/23-5/28 on the gold dream maker plan.

Here are the questions:

1) where are the standard rooms located?

2) what time does roaring forks open in the morning for breakfast and what kinds of breakfast stuff do they have?

3) can you refill your mug anywhere other than roaring forks? Like at the pool?

4) what time does the boat to the contemporary start running - we want to eat breakfast at chef mickey's one morning?

5) what is your experience with taking buses to early morning character b'fasts at the park - more specifically getting to AK by 8:30am?

I'll help with what I can!

1) I'm not exactly sure. I believe they are the closest to the front of the lodge (where you enter).

2)I believe 6am with cold stuff then they start serving the hot stuff at 7am.

3) I don't think so. But RF is very close to the pool. It really is a convenient location from everywhere in the lodge. Our room overlooked the villa's & quiet pool & it was only a few minutes walk.

4) CR/WL/FW boat runs 7am - 10 pm.

5) I have no idea.

As some of you may recall, last year I was laid off due to plant closure, but God is is faithful and just provided me with employment when I needed it most. Well, it has been just over three months and the bomb was dropped on me again this afternoon. My new job is also going away due to plant closure. Now I know God will provide as He always does, but it is just disheartning.

Corky, now I know how you are feeling...again.... as my trip this summer will most likely have to be rescheduled just as last year's was.

I hope I didn't bring down the mood of the thread, but I see you folks as extended family and just had to get it off my chest.

Just a Swan/Dolphin sorority sister here to say I am very sorry for the loss of your box, but more sorry for the way it was defamed and the angriness that was brought out by people who weren't "related" to the box or the memories it held. I just read the last few pages of that thread, and am still sitting here shaking my head! You are all such a close group and I totally understand where you are coming from, being a "sorority" sister, myself. I pray the meaness doesn't follow to the original thread.

I hope the box lives once again! I am sure it will, with all of you great people behind it!
