Just read the thread about the WL Memory Box. Don't sweat it, some people believe this is their world and they allow us to live here. Usually just ignore them and they go away. Truth be known, they probably were jealous of the close bond we all have and wanted one of their own.

I'm an aspiring WL vet and I have a question. I will be doing a solo trip at the end of the summer. I would like to book a standard view room. I would also like a king bed with a standard (non-accessable) bathroom. Does such a layout exist? Thanks for the help!

Roy, that is a cool idea. Every time someone goes to the WL, we take our picture with Humphrey. Definitely cool.

We are going tomorrow, Valentine's Day, for dinner at Artist Point. I will make sure someone takes a picture of me and Marcel.

Hi msteddom,

Please check out AspiringCindy's post on page 1.
Standard Rooms: All non-smoking rooms with 2 Queen beds.
Located on Floors 4,5 & 6. On the North Side
(MK), they face the Service area. There are
also 4th Floor rooms that overlook the lobby
look out to roof peaks. Some of the more
desirable rooms facing MK are rooms4032,
4034, 6012 & 6022
Lobby rooms do have balconies!

If you read first few pages on this link there is alot of information about the Wilderness Lodge room locations and how the resort is laid-out.

Hope this helps and have a GREAT TRIP.

Just back Had a FABULOUS time!! I am officially IN LOVE with the Lodge...and am secretly planning a return I gave Humphrey's nose an extra rub for all my 'board buddies'

More details later...but we were in room #4113 overlooking the courtyard and pool.

Great weather (cold the first day) and low to moderate crowds (worst crowds in MK our last day...Thursday).

Only good thing about being home...is seeing our two pups! It was sooooo hard to leave

Just finished my call with a wonderful CM a bit ago.
We are booked 9/25-10/1 at my dream resort,WILDERNESS LODGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


There was only one glitch--no woods view rooms available.So, I went ahead and booked Courtyard.It cost about 175.00 more though so the CM told me to check back and see if any woods view rooms become available.
But who knows, after I research the courtyard rooms, I may just leave things be.

I had written down a note to request north wing 4 or 5th floor for the woods view---so I left it at that for courtyard too. Is that good?

I want to extend a huge thankyou to all of you WL Vets here. You've been so kind in answering all my wacky questions, and I read this thread at least 3 times a day.Everyone here is so nice.
I'm sure I will have a zillion more ?????? before Sept.

Okay--now I need to go and get myself a countdown timer and change my sig line.

Since I read here so often I knew that in booking our first night room only and the rest of our stay as a package/ that they would try and keep us in the same room but its not guaranteed.The CM that made my ressie made it sound like it was a done deal.

Thanks for your quick response MAGICinMYHEART! I guess what I really need to know is: are there any king rooms that have standard, non-accessible bathrooms? I didn't see that information on the front page. Or it could be that the information isn't there because the room type is not available. I just wasn't sure. I would love a king room, but I NEED a bathtub! Thanks!!!

Yes there are rooms that have King size beds that aren't handicap-accessible, but these aren't standard view rooms.

About 37 Lodge rooms with King beds double as the barrier-free (handicap-accessible) rooms and have a large shower with no tub.
