OK we all know DisneyDmbNut is going to be at The Wilderness Lodge for the next few days...So here goes...Reporting Live From Florida It's wet outside....Ok I'll elaborate...

Today: Showers ending early, then partly cloudy by the afternoon. High near 70F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies.Low 57F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. (Mostly Dark)

Monday: Sunshine along with some passing clouds. High 77F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Monday Night: A mostly clear sky.Low 56F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. (Again Mostly Dark)

Tuesday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: Plenty of sun. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid 50s

Hi all,

My DH and I decided on Saturday to drive over to WL and have lunch. It was rainy and we just needed to get out of the house and goof off a little. We got over there around 11:15 and had lunch at Whsipering Canyon at noon. Food was so good. We both had the skillet, yum. We were going to go outside for a walk after but it started pouring, so we just walked around and looked for hidden mickeys. We sat in the lobby for a while. The lodge was hopping, wow. While we were eating lunch, there were at least 20 families on line to check in. Then they trickled in for a while. Then about an hour later, huge line again. Whispering Canyon was also packed.

I asked the CM at the valet parking if they were busy and she said that yes, they were pretty full and they were busy.

We left for home about 3:30 (we started to leave about 2:30), but just couldn't leave that wonderful lobby. We were like two little kids, not wanting to go home. But we had to. And it was a fun day.

Oh and by the way, when we got there we immediately went over to Humphrey (the bear) and rubbed his nose (or as FC says, "tweaked the beak". We both did it for Roy (Florida Cat) for good luck for him. Corky, if you speak to him, let him know this, please.

Oh, and there were sooo many cool new things in the Merchantile.

The Humphrey that we "rubbed the nose of" is in the lobby in front of the Mercantile. He is on the bottom of a totem pole type statue holding up Disney characters. You can't miss him.
