I have a note to request being 'Flag Family' when we check in, but I have a couple of questions...

What time is the ceremony?

How long does it take?

We have an early PS on my DS's birthday...so that day might not work for this (although...that would be great )

I can help other DISer's now! I actually know some of the answers!

Pewing: We were told to be at the Guest Services desk at 8:15 the morning we did it. I had heard that it was earlier, around 7, but I guess not. It took about 15-20 min. Not long. Rebecca, the CM who assisted us, told us we could take our time and take as many pic's as we wanted, so I guess it could take more or less time depending on the family.

Floridafam: Yes, it was quiet. The suite was at the corner of the Lodge near the boat docks. So the only "noise" we had was a particularly heavy footed individual coming up the stairs once, but no "stair noise" after that. Sometime a few snatches of sound would make it through the trees, but nothing that was a problem. But the ELP is LOUD!! The first night we were there, we had sent DD to bed (it had been a long travel day) and we heard what we thougt was the tv. We were shouting at her what was going on and she was shouting at us what were WE doing! Then we figured out it was outside. If you're expecting it, it's not too bad.

MagicPrincess: I believe we were booked Standard or maybe Woods, which is what makes the upgrade so magical!

Yup, you could see the ELP from the room. There were some trees obscuring a bit of it, but it wasn't a problem, especially since it's every night, so you could go to the beach and catch it again later.

Sure hope your DS enjoys them! I too, find the penguins fun to watch. Don't fret over DH's suggestion to GO WEST...as you can visit a lodge~like Disney resort @ our own little DISNEYLAND! Then, you would not have to feel like a traitor...and could drive down to San Diego for a visit to the Zoo & Sea World.

*Looks like the WL right here in sunny Anaheim! We love the place, and stayed here for two eves last November (we have PAP's to both WDW & DL!). We love visiting during the Holidays for the annual Nightmare before Christmas theme @ the Haunted Mansion...and the SNOW & Whimsey fun each eve on Main Street, Christmas parade...etc. (not to mention all the Christmas lights in the park!).

Wow Dreamflight! I love your Grand Californian Pix. Hopefully, we will have a chance to visit that hotel in 2005 or 2006! We are just waiting for the baby to be old enough to handle a 2 1/2 week trip from San Diego to San Fran! I love the look of the hotel! It reminds me of WL! Is it like the hotel in person?

Starz, I did receive a postcard rate from WL....well it was for all deluxes I believe. I got it a couple months ago and it was good I think until the end of this month. I unfortunatly wasn't able to use it They do exist though!
