P.S. Fred, I read from my post yesterday to this one, so I saw the post to put our info on the database first, went ahead and did it, then read your post to wait before adding. I hope I didn't screw it up!

Anyone ever use Tiffany Towncar to and from the airport for thier trip? We are considering them for a POSSIBLE trip in the near future as I don't really feel like renting a car.

...I did (from the Dolphin to the airport) and it was only about $4 or $5 more than it would have cost for a regular taxi!! (there were 5 of us, so it was a bit of a tight squeeze)....

I just used them in October and it was great! Well worth the $$ and hassle of driving around. The Tiffany driver met us at baggage claim and off we went to WL. Friendly driver and spotless car. They were right on time for the return to the airport too. Part of their fee allows for a 30 min stop at a grocery store on the way- made it easy to pick up snacks/wine/juice to have on hand in the room.

I will certainly use them again. That coupled with Disney transportation was all that was needed to get around to the parks.

We used Tiffany in Oct 2002.At the time we traveled from MCO to CSR and then back on checkout day. They were wonderful. Prompt, very courteous, super clean car and we will definetely use them again.
At the time, they had a 5.00 off coupon on their website for a round trip booking, so check that out.

I had booked the reservation in my DH's name and he thought it was cool to have someone holding a card with his name on it at the airport to greet us!

I was looking at a virtual tour of a standard room at WL, and have a question for you vets.
In the tour I saw, just inside the room after entering the door on the left hand side, was a sort of cubby area. It looked to be some sort of cabinet with maybe the ice bucket and cups on top.Can someone tell me what that is?

"Seeing" a WL room in a tour like that really gave me more of a feel for things. I can not wait until our trip---even though we have to wait all the way 'til next October !! Booo hoooo.

But you got it! It is a small set of drawers and they use that to put the ice bucket and small tray with glasses on it. Below are just four drawers I think for additional organization. The whole 'nook' is only about 18 inches wide- just enough space on the top for ice bucket and tray.

We will be checking into WL on Thursday, 12/4 in the afternoon. When should we fax the room request? I have heard 4-5 days after 5:00 pm.

Should I fax on Sunday after 5 or on Monday after 5? Or, does it really have to be after 5??

Ahh, you're just being a gentleman. I've spent the last 24 hours trying to think of a cute, semi-clever way to 'fess up to having "doubled" my entry. I am not without resources in the excuse making department, I have grown kids.

Oldest daughter ( aka Dharma ) has successfully employed the "innocent, even after being proven guilty" method for years. " Gosh Fred, I haven't got a clue how that happened."

Youngest daughter ( aka Suzanne Sugarbaker or the Drama Queen ) swears by denial laced liberally with "confuse the subject". " Wow Fred, thanks for doing this. Did you see where CamColt is going to be there the same time as my family? Wish you and yours were going to be there. I may have accidentally destroyed your site, oh and RatPack will be there, also."

Middle daughter, ( aka The Assassin ) has proven on numerous occasions that contrary to popular belief, a good offense is better than any kind of defense. " Are you talkin' to me. I suggest you reconsider your options".

And then there's the oldest child, only son ( aka Big Brother ), poor guy, he never had a chance. "Okay, what have I done now? If SHE says I did it, I must have done it but I swear I don't remember it".

I'm going to opt for the truth, what a concept! I am techno challenged. I could be the litmus test for the techno challenged. I entered my information, and since the boxes for real name and e-mail address were yellow, I though I wasn't supposed to put anything there. Did it occur to me that they wouldn't be there if you weren't supposed to enter anything? Well, no. Imagine my surprise when I realized that other posters had that very information included in their entries. My life is full of surprises. So, I went back to add the information. And I added it all again. Like Dory, but instead of, "Swimming, swimming. Keep on swimming." I was "Typing, typing. Keep on typing."

If your arrival date is Thursday you should send the fax on Sunday. I sent my request around 4:15 p.m. I know they recieved it because when I checked in the CM made reference to my requests.
