For those in the parks today, it does not get any better then this. Currently clear, breezy and 72.
Coming WWWWW posts are going to be like a roller coaster. Lows mid 50’s to 60’s. Highs low 70’s to 80’s.
Possible rain in the middle of next week, a sweat shirt is going to feel “comfy” after the sunset. For those of you packing, think “layering”

I would love to see the lodge with all the decorations up...I bet it is just gorgeous!! I can see myself sitting in front of the fire with a drink checking out the tree!! HMMMM....nice dream to get me through this horrible weather we are having in Pgh today! YUK!

If you book a conceirge room, do you have a better chance of getting a bunk bed room if you request one in your initial reservation?
Just wondering about this.

Also--are conceirge rooms any different that rooms on other floors? I don't know why I am assuming they might be, its just a thought

I guess I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra $100 bucks a night by booking conceirge in advance.

Ive tried to get a pic up on my signature...like some of you do..I went to Tech Support..but Im still not understanding how to do this..Any Computer savvy WL vets out there?? I can see a few of you with some great pics attached..how did you do it?

I love the Christmas Decorations at WL..I love coming to WDW in December. Heck, I love coming to WDW anytime (not crazy about July & Aug,,too hot, too crowded).

Last December I was at the WCC for my dinner.. I went up to the fpl on the 4 fl and didnt want to leave. If they would have let me, I would have stayed there all night. I did not want to leave and go back to POR. Its so special with those decorations and tree..Magnificent isnt it?

YOu might have a better chance getting the bunk beds in concierge. However, I'm sure they are limited so it may already be booked.

Concierge rooms are the same size as any other rooms at the lodge.

If you will use the concierge services provided, then you would benefit. Our last trip I absolutely loved concierge and I would do it again.....BUT not at the price we paid. I'm a planner so all our PS's were already done.

On our next trip, I'm going to check about upgrading at checkin where, if available, they will offer it for approx. $50 more depending on the room you originally booked.(woods/courtyard/standard)

If I can get the upgrade at $50, then I'll take it.

Thats just my 2 cents.

Make sure to copy from the http at the beginning, all the way to the end.

We are staying concierge this trip and I have requested bunks for my two boys.
I totally agree with Liv2CdWorld. I would have waited to possibly upgrade at check-in, but my luck is never that good and we had our hearts set on concierge this trip.
The reason we decided to do concierge is simply the food.
If my 5 year old wants a snack in between lunch and dinner I know right where to go. They have the crustless PB&J sandwhiches that he could eat morning, noon, and night. Some mornings when we don't want to be rushed for breakfast but the kids are hollering there hungry, we can grab something quick for them to hold them over till we leave.

These are just some of the reasons why we chose to go concierge.

E-mail the pics to Fred. He will then load them on the photo thread.

To put a picture in your siggie, it has to be on the internet. So when Fred has it down loaded you can do this.

Go to the picture you want, as long as it is on a web site somewhere.
Right clickthe picture and select PROPERTIES
Right click the URL (HTTP ) and click SELECT ALL
Right click again and select COPY.
Your done here.

Go to your USER CP
Click the EDIT PROFILE
Scroll down to your siggie area.
Now all of this has to be typed (copy) with NO SPACES.
{img]THEN COPY THE URL HERE[/img} use square brackets.
Save your changes then go to a previous post and see what you have.

There are Bunk bed rooms in all areas of WL, not as many as 2 queens. You should make all your requests known when you are booking. This is the most important first step with faxing your request being second. Faxing instructions are on page two under Wilderness Layout.

Liv2CDWorld-- Thanks for the tip ! Getting concierge for 50.00 vs. 100.00 does sound good to me as well. I guess I could go with the mind set that bunks are MOST important to us, then if we can get conceirge and still have them, it would be magic ;-)

GAGirl--Yes, the food does sound like an added plus ! Plus the perk of being treated a little extra special sounds like a plan to me.
We always book the silver package for meals.My DH will not do Disney any other way, and since he's paying for the trip, no arguments from me. But, I have to decide if concierge would be a bit much on top of the silver package or not.
My two boys :happy1: will be 10 & 12 for our next trip, and they already eat us out of house and home though
So the option of extra food never hurts.

BTW- I am a Georgia girl too! Are ya ready for the cold temps tonight?

Yes it has, was just out to watch Air Force One go over , DD office is at MCO and called to tip me off, and there is a definate knip in the air. The day has been clear and very very pleasent.
FYI Yes on the FP and neat little cozy places to read a book or just crash for a minute on every floor around the lobby..
