I am looking for a small favor from someone who might want to help bring a little Disney magic to my DS through Santa this year. If anyone is intersted in picking up a specific Disney pin and mailing it to me (all paid for by me of course)I would be really grateful. I don't know why I didn't think of this when we were there but I just thought of it recently. I think he would be really excited to get a Disney pin to add to his lanyard from "Santa". So if anyone wants to help...just PM me! Hope everyone is having a great day!

We also had Devora as our mousekeeper for our late Oct. trip. She was wonderful. We had towel animals everyday. When Devora realized that we had two girls, she left two towel creations everyday so that they each would have one. We had a great trip.

Maidmarion..Oh happy Day! you are getting close..yippe for you and PD.

If anyone has an otter pond view..The otter does appear! He is the cutest. He swims all around looking for food, and when he finds something (fish!) he pokes his head out and you can see him chewing. Look for the ripples in the pond, he goes under for a couple of minutes at a time.

My mousekeeper was Consuelo. She left me 5 towel animals.. A Cat, Dog, Swan (magnificent), doll and a penguin.

She also spelled out HI with towels on the floor as you walked in. I always tipped her..she was the best. I hope someone gets her as their mousekeeper as well. I was in room 5034.

I was in WDW last December round the 2nd week..It got chilly and I needed a sweatshirt..thats all..but the year before, same time in December, it was very warm and I went swimming. So, the weather is unpredictable for sure.. I was there in January, 2000 and it was 85..so just be prepared for hot, warm, chilly.

We really need to get a WL Family Reunion going one of these years. I think if we put it our a year or more in advance, we could probably get alot of us to go..Now wouldnt that be a magical thing..AND we could all go hunt for the memory box together. PD to a WL Family Reunion!!

Devora made us an alligator, turtle, angle, swan and a princess (using my daughters princess hat we left in the room) holding the remote control.

She always put the stuff animals my girls brought from home with the towel animals.

My girls thought this was the funniest part.

We are getting into the finicky time of year for our weather. One day 80, the next 50 plus here is a wide difference between the panhandle and the keys.
Make sure your looking at Central FL, like WWWWW. Look at a 15 day forecast only as a guide, because that is all it is. Pack for ‘layer” dressing, where you can put on or take off. In December a sweat shirt will feel comfy after Sun down. Average December temps will be 53-73

Corky, what a great Santa idea, hey, we have Santa’s all over the country.
You should be the WL Santa Coordinator. WL Vets could be shopping all over the country.

I don't know the name of our mousekeeper, but she was really great. Lots of different towel animals everyday!!! Maybe it was Devora.

Of course, we took pictures of the towel animals, too. I need some towel animals now, I wish someone in my family would make them and put them in the bathroom. A towel animal or two, or three would really make my day. It doesn't take much to make me happy, just something to remind me of the WL. I can't wait to be there again.

i just heard on the news that President Bush was going to visit the central florida area tomorrow. the newscaster said he will be staying at Disney's Grand Hotel???

do you think that he meant Disney's Grand Floridian?

wouldn't that be cool. i wonder how heightened security will be tomorrow. i do know that when the President flies, no other plane can be up in the air for hundreds of miles.

wonder if we will hear it on these boards tomorrow?

Just a reminder tonight at 10:00 the decorations start going up at our beloved home(WL)! Tomorrow morning those that aren't watching the miraculous transformation, will wake up to it, or arrive to find the HOLIDAYS have begun!!
