How was the new stunt show? Were the waits long? Any other tips?

thanks!

Hi Corar,

You'll get differing opinions on how it was. I'm not a fan of NASCAR or action movies, and I was bored after five minutes. The drivers are very talented, but I got the idea after the first ten times.

As for the waits, we saw a 6:PM show on May 6 and we got there at 5:50 and walked right in. The seats weren't that great, but the place is huge.

There are only three shows a day (or that's been the schedule so far), usually around 1, 3:30, and 6, but those times can vary by half an hour or 45 minutes. The show itself is about 35-40 minutes long.

Our family and friends enjoyed the show. We do like that type of show. It's worth seeing.

I was bored too. Indiana show is a classic, if you need to choose...

I LOVED it and I usually don't enjoy that sort of thing. It was amazing and very entertaining! The only thing that I didn't like was trying to climb down those bleaches with the thousands of other people. The seating was fine--- bleachers so there is PLENTY of room!

I went to the 1:00 show last Friday, got in at about 12:55 with no problem. It was kind of a been there, done that for me. I've seen it once, that's enough. Not really my thing. The bleachers were kind of uncomfortable, I wish they would have put backs on them.

How long will the show be at DW? We'll be there in Oct and I think my DS will love it. Is it there through the summer or through the whole Disney celebration or forever?

I agree with you, Debbie....and I was bored after the first 10 min, waiting for it to be OVER with ALREADY!! :sad2: The stairs leading UP to the bleachers are VERY dangerous, a guy almost fell in front of me. :guilty:

if the words lights motor and action sound fun to you then i think you would enjoy it.

First, I loved the show --- videotape the whole thing and have showed it to several friends at home and they loved it too! (TIP: use a mono-pod). I wasn't bored and and those guys can drive.

Anyhooo...I was at the 1:00 p.m. show and I must say it was packed. There is a lot of seating like there is for Fantasmic; however, the place was full to the hilt. They keep saying if "please move down to the end of your row to make more room."

I could see people trying to move down but there is only so far you could move. It seemed on that particular day the entire park wanted to see the 1:00 p.m. show.

I got a fastpass and that is a good tip because they let all of the fastpass go in right away to get a seat where those without a fastpass had to wait in the que line. On that day...it was HOT!

It was a great show in my opinion and well worth the time. I liked Lights Motor, Action more the Indiana Jones as far as stunt shows.

Each person on this board will give you a different opinion. Try it for yourself is always my opinion!

count me in with the "bored after 5 minutes" brigade!!

DH on the other hand, thought it was SO amazing, he forgot to take any pictures! He loved it and will want to do it every trip!!

They spent a small fortune building the set and theater for it. I imagine it will be running for years.

What's dangerous about the stairs? My daughter is slightly weak on one side and I want to know what to watch out for. Thanks!

We were fine walking in at show time. The place holds 5000 people…and you can see from anywhere. We thought that it was a great show. The show last 35 minutes. Keep your watches handy and walk out with a minute or two to go…as we did.

If you leave before the end you miss a great part of the show.

We saw it....Just from the sidewalk that is front of the bleachers...then we were on our way

Thanks for the great info.
Is the theater in full sun or is there a covering of some sort (in case we hit the heat of the day showings)?

There is a roof over the stadium. I agree they need backs on the seats when you sit for that long.

If I were you, I would get there early for a seat near the action, I have hip and back problems, and it was hard for me to go UP and DOWN. :sad2: If I had known they were seating BEFORE the Fast-pass time I would have gotten there than. :confused3
