You bulldoze LMA now for staging areas. They need staging for the two announced lands and that is where it will go. Toy Story and Star Wars are not supposed to go where LMA is.

1. Everything I have heard points to Muppets being safe.

2. Exactly, the retheme will essentially create a muppets mini-land.

3. Indiana Jones stays for now but its future really is uncertain. A new Indiana Jone ride is now being rumored for the future though.

And this is what makes sense. Using it as part of the work for the two announced lands. Any other land or theme is not official. If we want to talk rumors then we can talk about the rumor that there are additional Pixar attractions that will be added to that area.

We were only planning on a half day for TSM, RnRC, ToT, Star Tours and Mermaid, with lunch at Sci Fi. My concern is that with so much of the park closed, those attractions will be even more swamped than usual. I'll wait and see how things are going, but we may just skip DHS this time around.

DS is going to be bummed...he was looking forward to seeing LMA.

I wonder what other M&Gs DHS will add as a stop-gap.

I broke the news to DH and he is pretty disappointed that LMA is closing. He really liked it a lot. He's big into cars and sport bikes (he has his own that he rides on tracks with). He's hoping they'll have something similar eventually. I'll be sure to go see it for him one last time since he won't be coming with. I was only planning on riding RnRC and ToT on my trip later this month anyways.

I think we will definitely skip the park for a while now, until we feel there's enough there that we're interested in again. It was nice going in December though, seeing the last of the park as it was. I'll have to tell my brother that LMA is closing, I know he'll be disappointed though

I see from another news item on the DIS that the Earful Tower, Playground, Monsters Inc. M&G, and Studio Catering are all gone too (again , not shocking) (all stuff "towards the back" of the park).

The current park icon is the Hollywood Tower Hotel, since the Sorceror's Hat came down. That's what they're using in all the merch.

Mama Melrose is still taking reservations out through July (not that it actually means anything... )

It's possible that they could have a "muppets pocket" between Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land. You need some sort of transitional area between the two lands anyway and that would be a good way to work both in.

There was a feature film, "Muppets From Space" and I think one of the skits on variety show too.
