Lights! Motor! Asian?--Feb 2010 Part II. 11/6-Pix, part 2. Page 199.

#1...for all 3 kids...as I do most nights.....sigh....while Wendy is eating her bon bons (well, actually, it's spaghetti).:rotfl:

Yes, well now I just finished cleaning the kitchen, going through the mail, setting the table for tomorrow's breakfast, cleaning the living room, getting Erin's clothes out for tomorrow, and getting ready to do some work-work while DH is snoring away on Dylan's floor (do you hear it up in WA, Cherie and DJay?). And I can't help it if I have to eat dinner at 8pm after I pick up Erin from piano lessons... so there. :headache:

Just got home from a meeting. Long day.

Sorry haven't been around, but lots happened over the last few days. I will update and catch up tomorrow and Friday....Miss everyone.

Ooops, busted...:scared1: Truce, hunny? :flower3: How do I :tiptoe: out of this one? Hey Djay & Cherie, got a floor I can sleep on in WA?:confused3

funny you should mention pet field mice. My kids caught on in the house last week and made an elaborate box for it complete with palyground and feeding station. Only for it to escape the next morning.

They were so disappointed!!
Sorry to hear they lost their new pet....but I wonder if you'll find traces of it somewhere in the house.....:lmao:

Which one did not have the honor?

Evan, the oldest. He was a premie. He was born 7 weeks early. When he was born he weighed 4 pounds 13 ounces. I could put his head in the palm of my hand and have to stretch his legs to reach my elbow. You couldn't tell that by his size now. He's 16 years old and at least 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches taller than me. It's hard to believe that he will only be home for 3 more years and then leave to serve a mission for our church. It's amazing how fast time goes by.

When did Erin get glasses? She looks really cute with them, I don't remember her wearing them before.

Erin's room looks spotless compared to my kids....they are scary. I've given up now I just make them keep the doors closed so i don't have to see it. :sad2:

Was thinking of you all day yesterday

And am caught up on part 2 finally, my goodness was I behind! Loved seeing the DIS meet pics with Alison, bummed our trips didn't overlap.

Well, I did teach Ashlyn to take the kids clothes to the hamper at 20 months old and Dylan does clean his room most nights but as for Erin......we'll here's a typical night in her room....(this was from a few minutes ago...)

Wendy & Derek those are some cute cute pics of Dylan...what a ham! :)

Wendy, Derek...you have some cute kids! And Dylan is such a ham!

Jordy...can't wait for an update!

maybe I'm in the minority, but I have no idea who Brees is, (assuming the quaterback?) so, I'd have chosen Tutto! Sorry, you can flame me if you want, but there ya have it.

Ditto that! Well, okay, I know who he is now, but if you'd asked me before the superbowl :confused3 I just don't follow football - AT ALL! In fact, I avoid it as much as I can (sometimes its hard in this family!;))

To follow up on my humbugging about what women do... a little humor for you today...
One afternoon a man came home from work to find total mayhem in his house. His three children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill or that something serious had happened. He found her lounging in the bedroom, still curled in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know how every day when you come home from work and ask me what in the world I did today?" "Yes," was his incredulous reply. She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

:lmao: I love this! Perfect!

My guess was Evan. I think Cheri did tell us he was a premie. My daughter was full term but 6 lbs even and on 18 inches long. I my Dh was just afraid he would break her.
So are you counting the hospital as his first bath or was his tinyness scary so Cheri did it?

So recently Erin has taken up a love for garden snails  and adopted a trio, Michael and Annalise and Millie, who replaced her meal worm that passed away (also named Millie)....so tonight we upgraded the new pets from their glass jar (with holes) to a snail condo, complete with eco soil, a small branch, lettuce, etc.

I can't believe I just spent $10 on soil and a plastic house for our outdoor neighbors...but I guess it's better than pet field mice:rotfl:

Yeah my DD did that. We had those green anole lizards as pets for years. We went through quite a few of those.

If this is any indication of what is to come for you in the future, we now have an iguana that needed a specially built cage to have enough room and and small king snake.

Oh let me mention the king snake " disappeared" but of course she did not tell anyone else. I heard some rustling in my bedroom a few times and went to investigate....... yup I found it. :scared1::scared1:

Erin's glasses are cute. I guess every one is getting new ones. Except Wendy, she had lasik. How is that working out ?

I am so glad the posts are slowing down. Especially next week when DH and I will be in Vegas for four days. One of my best friends is getting married on Monday at the Venetian. Will you guys make fun of me if I tell you I've barely started packing?
Millie - do you know yet what days you'll be at Peep Fest? I'm not sure of our dates yet. Hopefully we'll get to meet.
Have to go watch Survivor now.

Cherie - Erin had glasses at WDW - I think she probably didn't wear them that often... she has had them since last year but just recently started wearing them more often because although she doesn't need it for reading or close up, we kept forgetting to get them when we'd be going out somewhere that she'd need to see far away. So I think she is just now wearing them more often than not. Glasses are much cuter than in my day - I had these ugly old brown ones. Hers are Disney princess frames. Very cute. princess:

And I am resolving that someday when she gets older (and her stuff gets bigger and takes a life of it's own) that I'll have to just do the "shut the door" method so I don't have to walk by and see it. We'll see how it is when she and Ashlyn share a room - wonder if one will be neat and the other not...? It might turn out that rooms will be assigned based on cleanliness tolerances.

Ok that just freaks me out! Once I found a lizard on my bed that the cat brought in... but to find a snake surprising me - eek! At least you knew you had one... I'll have to draw the line somewhere on what pets are allowed and not... no spiders for sure... I am NOT a bug/beetle girl. :faint:

And my Lasik has been GREAT!!! It's been 4 months now and no problems... it's amazing... I haven't been swimming with it yet - that'll be the next test... but it's so fabulous! :thumbsup2 No more glasses for me!

I'd LOVE to get Lasik...get rid of prescription glasses for good! And be able to pic up a pair of sunglasses for under $80. I'm just not sure we could afford it. :(
