Lights! Motor! Asian?--Feb 2010 Part II. 11/6-Pix, part 2. Page 199.

Yeah my DD did that. We had those green anole lizards as pets for years. We went through quite a few of those.

If this is any indication of what is to come for you in the future, we now have an iguana that needed a specially built cage to have enough room and and small king snake.

Oh let me mention the king snake " disappeared" but of course she did not tell anyone else. I heard some rustling in my bedroom a few times and went to investigate....... yup I found it. :scared1::scared1:

Erin's glasses are cute. I guess every one is getting new ones. Except Wendy, she had lasik. How is that working out ?
Hmmm, "snakes, why'd it have to snakes" (quoting Indian Jones).

Yeah, I wonder if Dylan (and Erin) will transition from snails to snakes or reptiles. I pass a specialty reptile pet store on my way home and have been tempted to stop by but I don't think Wendy would have any interest in any new crawling or slithering pets (excluding her hubby).:rotfl:

Besides Wendy, Dylan also doesn't need any glasses (lucky him), nor does Ashlyn at the moment, so it's just Erin and me who are getting new glasses (mine are awaiting new lens).

My guess was Evan. I think Cheri did tell us he was a premie. My daughter was full term but 6 lbs even and on 18 inches long. I my Dh was just afraid he would break her.
So are you counting the hospital as his first bath or was his tinyness scary so Cheri did it?

I count the bath at the hospital as the first bath.

I count the bath at the hospital as the first bath.

I am gong out on a limb here but I am guessing the first opportunity you had to bathe Evan, you did.

For that :worship::worship::worship::worship:

I do give my husband props though. He may have been nervous to bathe her but he did teach her to drive first .:scared1::scared1: :scared:

My DD has a bunch of friends who all have reptiles of some sort. Most of them girls too. It seems like these creatures just appear in her room. Now as long as they stay there and don't escape I'm good. I did not freak when I found the snake. I was just really hoping it was hers and not just some random snake

I guess I was a little liberal in the use of everybody in regards to glasses.

Just did #1 for all three kids again...unfortunately, Erin & Dylan were like cats and dogs chasing (fighting with) each other all tonight and at one point crying in stereo and blaming each other for inflicting some pain on each other. I did what any responsible dad would do...I picked up child #3 and ran for the hills.

smiley-running.jpg

Lmao! Good job, Derek.

Your post makes me rethink wanting more kids. Lol

I am so glad the posts are slowing down. Especially next week when DH and I will be in Vegas for four days. One of my best friends is getting married on Monday at the Venetian. Will you guys make fun of me if I tell you I've barely started packing?
Millie - do you know yet what days you'll be at Peep Fest? I'm not sure of our dates yet. Hopefully we'll get to meet.
Have to go watch Survivor now.

Wow, a wedding at the Venetian? Sounds amazing! That's a beautiful hotel.

HAHAHAHa :rotfl: My two younger siblings were like that as kids. Constantly bickering. In fact, now that they're 18 and 19, they're still at it like wildcats!:scared1:

Good luck, we're stopping at 3 (although some folks keep pushing us for #4...:scared1:). I said we're broke with 3 and more broke with 4.

What, the bickering can go on until they're 18 and 21? What's the statute of limitations on returning kids to the hospital, no questions asked?

All caught up

Derek really cute pix of Erin and Dylan !! There bedroom looks neat compared to Kyles !! He has gotten better about picking up his mess though !! The girls room actually is pretty good !! Stephanie can be a cleaning freak which helps !! As for being in the dog house for sleeping while poor Wendy worked !! Bad Derek:lmao:Good Wendy!!!!:)

The girls each weighed over 7# at birth , now remember they are TWINS!!!!:scared1: Samantha was very close to 8# !!!:scared1: Poor Judy!!!!:scared1:

Well tomorrow is the last day of my semi vacation and I am glad !!:lmao:Work is easier !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

The party lights on... hey everyone!

No, Derek, you can't send them back, but just think when you've taken them to Disney World as many times as you will have by the time you're 85, they MIGHT just change your diapers for you. :confused3:lmao: That my friend, will be sweet payback for the fighting.

Wow, I'm amazed at how many people said Erin's room wasn't all that messy. Either I'm a bad photographer (and didn't catch the mess) or Erin's not an anomaly...maybe just in our family. Now in my defense, I was sleeping with Dylan and Ashlyn (on the floor as accused) getting them to fall asleep too and I, being such a thematic actor, played the sleeping role to a "t".:rolleyes1

Funny, but at this rate of their fighting, I (or they) might not make it to 65 (or age 30 for Erin and 27 for Dylan)....but the funny thing is, we always used the "changing the diapers" line for Jordan who is approaching the "Depends" age earlier than I am.:rotfl:

Thanks for the encouragement....Dylan & Ashlyn's room is usually the cleanest..and for the record, Wendy does do the cleaning in the house and I owe her a Big Debt of Gratitude for cleaning up our office...now I can actually walk from the office door to the mac without wading through stuff. Thanks honey.:cloud9:

As you've seen by the response I'm not just being kind. She really doesn't have that messy of a room.

Yes, well now I just finished cleaning the kitchen, going through the mail, setting the table for tomorrow's breakfast, cleaning the living room, getting Erin's clothes out for tomorrow, and getting ready to do some work-work while DH is snoring away on Dylan's floor (do you hear it up in WA, Cherie and DJay?). And I can't help it if I have to eat dinner at 8pm after I pick up Erin from piano lessons... so there.

 Poor Wendy. No need to justify here, we know your both good parents. By the way Wendy, how is your dad doing? I was thinking of him and thought I should ask for an update.

Just got home from a meeting. Long day.

Sorry haven't been around, but lots happened over the last few days. I will update and catch up tomorrow and Friday....Miss everyone.

We miss you Jordy!! I've been wondering how your doing, we've kinda been holding the fort around here for ya.....well, mostly Derek.

Ooops, busted...:scared1: Truce, hunny? :flower3: How do I :tiptoe: out of this one? Hey Djay & Cherie, got a floor I can sleep on in WA?

I would say a big bunch of her favorite flowers and an evening out....without the kiddos. :thumbsup2

He's 16 years old and at least 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches taller than me. It's hard to believe that he will only be home for 3 more years and then leave to serve a mission for our church. It's amazing how fast time goes by.

Tell me about it!! Tyler is graduating this year and going off to college. How and when the heck did that happen? :confused3 I'm sad but at the same time excited to see what his future holds. :goodvibes He's already talking about becoming a strong Christian business man who will eventually go into politics. He thinks he can over come some of the Mts. of this world and influence it from the inside. Boy do I have my prayer time cut out for me! :goodvibes

Ok fine... truce. So no more bagging on me or you'll be in for a world of hurt. :rotfl2:

Yeaaaa! What she said! ;)

When did Erin get glasses? She looks really cute with them.

::yes::

Erin's room looks spotless compared to my kids....they are scary. I've given up now I just make them keep the doors closed so i don't have to see it.

Ditto with my the oldest child, I finally realized I wasn't going to be able to get through to him, he's been this way since he was three and I should stop fighting a fight I would never win. I'm still holding out hope for Mackenzie.

between D.Jay and our 16 yr old, it's amazing I can hear myself think most nights!

snoring.jpg

:rotfl2: I totally understand. Before we had to put our doggie down we literally had a house full of people and pets who all snored!

Will you guys make fun of me if I tell you I've barely started packing?
Millie - do you know yet what days you'll be at Peep Fest? I'm not sure of our dates yet. Hopefully we'll get to meet.

Naaa, no making fun of you for not packing yet. I don't usually start packing until the day before. But in my defense as a true Dis'er, I have a small pile in my room on top of the dresser of the different things I want to take with me, and my toiletries bag already has things in it. Not to mention a packing list I started like a year ago. Oh yea, I also have a box that has Disney things in it that I've had since last year.
Not sure what days I'll be going to Peepsfest, but I'll share as soon as I do, promise. What are the dates again Jordy?

Smart thinking! :thumbsup2

Poor Jordy. He doesn't deserve all this abuse. :goodvibes

Here's some pics care of Dylan on my Mac tonight. Again, he did this on his own while I was attending to Ashlyn (with my permission).....maybe he wants to be Casper the friendly little ghost....apparently he's getting more sophisticated with using some of the photo effects in combination with the 4-panel photos....

Wendy & Derek those are some cute cute pics of Dylan...what a ham! :)
Wendy, Derek...you have some cute kids! And Dylan is such a ham!
Jordy...can't wait for an update!
Yup, Dyl is quite the ham (as seen with his self portraits). I don't know where he get it from :confused3

Have fun in Vegas at the Venetian. Sounds like a fun trip and congrats to your friends. I'm typically a late packer (so I wouldn't make fun of you, never!) but Wendy, being a planner, usually has things going a week before the trip:thumbsup2
As you've seen by the response I'm not just being kind. She really doesn't have that messy of a room.
Okay, I'll try to ease up on reminding Erin about her room (for maybe one night)!:rotfl:
 Poor Wendy. No need to justify here, we know your both good parents. By the way Wendy, how is your dad doing? I was thinking of him and thought I should ask for an update.
Camile, thanks for asking about my FIL, he's doing pretty well and is awaiting results from his 4th (and hopefully last) round of chemo. We're leaving it in God's hands. But unfortunately, we recently heard that one of Wendy's relatives has Lymphoma while another family friend of ours has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Lot's of challenges by the evil one.
We miss you Jordy!! I've been wondering how your doing, we've kinda been holding the fort around here for ya.....well, mostly Derek.
Yeah, sorry bro for usurping your TR during your absence, but your peeps know who the real rockstar is...
I would say a big bunch of her favorite flowers and an evening out....without the kiddos. :thumbsup2
Now, you're talking:thumbsup2 Great ideas.

Cool, what a MOG (Man of God). We need more MOGs in this world. Congrats on Tyler's upcoming graduation and strong faith.
Yeaaaa! What she said! ;)
Yeah, I know "when to hold them, and when to fold them" and when to:love2: and when to :duck: for cover.
Ditto with my the oldest child, I finally realized I wasn't going to be able to get through to him, he's been this way since he was three and I should stop fighting a fight I would never win. I'm still holding out hope for Mackenzie.
Good luck with Mackenzie if she's like Erin...we're still holding out for miracles:worship::worship:
Not sure what days I'll be going to Peepsfest, but I'll share as soon as I do, promise. What are the dates again Jordy?[/COLOR]

Poor Jordy. He doesn't deserve all this abuse. :goodvibes
Abuse, what abuse? We're not torturing him, just yet:confused3
