I got so bored that I even reverted to Facebook and found Jordan lurking in the shadows. I even tried to recruit him back to his TR but I guess he never made it (he said he was going to do a post). I'm not holding my breath. So I did other things like research Apple rumors about the new iPhone 4G prototype that was released on Gizmodo.com, read my emails, checked out my tweets, listened to music on BlipFM and was ready to go catchup on my Tivo recordings....

Your browsing habits are eerily like mine. First DIS, if there's no party, I try FB, nothing there, I eventually check my personal e-mail, then work on checking out allears to rehash the menus at my ADR places.

It's a scary thing when one has no life.

Just an FYI.....you can go to home depot and buy removable alarms to use when you go places. They just attach onto the door....sliding doors, french doors or regular doors....if someone tries to open the door a high pitch alarm sound goes off. When you leave you just take it down and take it home with you. We use them all the time. We bought a set for our house because DD 8 is a sleep walker. When we realized how easy they are to use we bought another set to travel with us. We used them at ASMu back in 08 as well as a rinky dinky little psycho type motel in Missouri. They are great and help to ease the worries!!!!

DH just told me that he saw a set at Walmart last time he was there too.

Well, while I'm here, I'll confirm that we learned in 10th grade biology that tongue rolling is genetic. I can do it, my sister can't, so it was fun to tease her about it when we were kids. On the other hand, I can't roll my "r"s, which apparently means I have a speech defect in Spanish. I guess I'm lucky not to live in Spain or anywhere south of Texas!

Okay, there must be some scientific thing here, because I can do all the crazy things to my tongue, but I can't roll my R's either!! I had my college spanish teacher in stitches because I couldn't roll my R's, she thought that was the most hilarious thing!!

I am wiped out my friend. Last 5 saturdays have been dress rehearsal, easter play, easter weekend, kids fest, & hailee's birthday party. I also discovered a few things on Saturday. 1. Inflatble bouncers are STINKING HEAVY! 2. Lifiting something stinking heavy causes spotaneous flatulence of a shrill and alarming nature. 3. Laughing and lifting are mutually exclusive.

Hi everyone! If anyone cares, supposedly Dairy Queen is having a sale on Blizzards all this week through Sunday. It's buy one and get one for a quarter.

Jordan, I friend requested you on FB, I hope you accept. That way you can see who I am since I feel like I already know you.

Millie - too bad you can't go to DL next year. Although now it's looking like I can either do DL or PeepFest but not both. Will probably do PF since DH will go with me for that. Maybe in several years we can do DL?

You know....maybe in a couple of years we can go together, I think it would be a great time to hit my old stompin grounds again. But! We'll still get to meet one another while at PeepsFest!!

I would have choosen Tutto too. Nothing against this guy, I'm just not that into football or seeing someone who plays it. You'll get no flames from me. I do however appreciate the guy, he's a pretty upstanding man.

Well, those stupid Bachelors always think with the wrong part of their bodies... then guess what? They break up with the hoochie.... Tenley did deserve someone better, and she wasn't ready anyway. The Bachelor and Bachelorette are my guilty pleasures.

House Hunting Inter. is one of my most favs. too! It's hard to find shows or anything on t.v. that is in good taste. I'm all for clean t.v.! Although I do have my guilty pleasure t.v., like Ms. Tammie (Magicfor2) I watch Army Wives, and Drop Dead Diva. There aren't to many current things on t.v. I'll watch. I do love to watch Dancing with the Stars, but I always forget it's on when I get back from picking up Mackenzie from dance!

Yeah, I agree that HHI is great for kids (although my kids aren't really into it that much). I love the international shows like The Amazing Race 13 since it's a great way to learn about different cultures around the world. Oh and my other favorite shows are "Castle" (kind of like a remake of Moonlighting with Cybil Shepherd and Bruce Willis) and, I hate to admit it, "Chuck" on NBC. (Yes, I dream of being a geek turned into a spy for the CIA)

And to Derek, I watch a lot of other people's disney vacation videos on youtube. Those are awesome.

I'll have to check out folk's disney vacation videos on youtube sometime. For some reason, I've avoided youtube for fear of it becoming too addicting for me.

Good morning all! Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday...or as many I know like to call it "Hump" day.

I figured before I get too much further preoccupied with laundry or fall asleep (due to the abandonded house two doors down that was set on fire at 4:15 this morning waking me up 3 hours earlier than usual)...I'll get the pole pics posted I mentioned on Rosies thread.

These pics were taken at UNC (university of Northern Colorado) when my now SIL was attending college there many moons ago. So we were all like 18 or 19 or 20.

My brother and SIL...I don't remember if they were first to dance with the pole or not...

My friend Aaron and I...

Aaron though it would be fun to climb the pole...attempt #1...he ended up flying

Attempt #2...I think it's success...

My turn for a singles pole dance...(I forgot to crop this one before resizing...and PB won't let me make it large again, stupid PB, so I may re-upload it, crop it, resize it and edit this post later)

I had single pole pics of each of us...as well as a pic of just SIL and I...but for the life of me I can't find those. If I do find them I will post them.

After the pole dancing...my brother decided to re-enact the oh so famous triple dog dare scene from The Christmas Story...

And finally...I guess the following is a sign the pole had had enough of our shenannigans (sp?) so decided to take it out on my friend Aaron.

I assure you all, we were dead cold sober! Wandering around the campus late late at night when we found this pole. I must say though...I laughed so hard that night at our shenannigans, my sides hurt the next morning.
