Chapter 25. Hey you. MOVE!!!!
As you may recall, the last chapter about WDW had Dylan riding Test Track again. I spent the morning sleeping in...well sort of. A quick review of the times that I had woken up the last 2 mornings:

So this is what time I slept into:
Not too bad. My plan this morning was to head over to Epcot and do some solo touring. I had an ADR at Tutto Italia at 11:30am. At some point, I was gonna meet up with Winkers and Rosie and Wendy and the rest of the gang. I turned on the TV..weather channel of course. I still had Typhoon Lagoon on the itinerary for Tuesday. The current weather forecast for the next day--70 and rain in the late afternoon. It was still a go! As I was getting ready, I received a text from Blue saying that Drew Brees would be at the MK today for a short parade. OY! I am a pretty big NFL football fan and it would be cool to see Drew the day after the Super Bowl. I had to think about it I jumped in the shower and as I lathered up (easy there ladies...) I went back and forth whether i'd go. I really didn't want to give up my ADR at Tutto....I finally called my football crazy roommates back at home. They said, without a doubt, to go and see Drew. They were right. It was a once in a lifetime kind of thing. So, I texted Blue back and said I'd be on my way shortly. Blue said they were already there by Pecos Bills...
So I called Disney Dining and cancelled my Tutto
I asked if I still had my Raglan Road ADR scheduled for Thursday and she said yes. So I was okay as far as my TS credits went....Glad I had extra ADRs scheduled and hadn't cancelled them.
I headed to the bus stop at:
On the way to the bus stop, some person yells "Oh my god , there's a DISer!!!!" She didn't say anything to me as I started running from her
. I hear her say "I knew because of his Lime Green Mickey on his camera bag...you know that Disney site where I get all my tips" I think she said something else, but was out of earshot by this time. I was a bit rattled as she literally screamed it. She didn't know me though..so, see not so much of a celebrity...
I get on the bus and I immediately see some Saints Jerseys. I let them know about Drew. They didn't know, but were excited now! Good deed for the day done-magic spread to others. I can be mean for the rest of the day. I got to the MK by about 11:15am. Not bad. I texted Blue and said I was on my way over.
I like just seeing the pictures back now as I was solo for this portion.
Saint in the foreground, castle in the background. I am never too much in awe of the castle, but it did look beautiful this particular morning.
Brees was a popular jersey:
I went through Adventureland. Not so crowded this morning:
Should I stop for a Dole Whip? There's no line? My stomach said...better not.
Saints' fans starting to gather:
All the Saint's gear just makes fashion mistakes stand out a bit more. A woman with a dog collar around her neck and matching hair and blouse...
Come to think of it maybe that's not why I took the pic................
I met up with Cherie and family:
I took this because I'm amazed how much technology has changed us. Notice everyone using phone/PDA...
The crowds build.
He was supposed to come up around noon. It was about 12:30pm before he came out. You know how they tell you to stand back. Well they told people more than a few times to stand back. Notice lady in windbreaker in ALL the rest of my pictures. I had to raise my camera and take pictures over my head. I was NOT happy.
Just as he was passing in front of me. I got ready to take a GREAT shot and I ended up with this:
Figures. I had fun hanging with Blue and her hubby and son. She's a protective mama bear. She has a story to tell, but I'll let her tell it on her TR....
So we head out. I'm on my way to Epcot. Blue was headed to AK. Oh, that's if we can get out the main entrance:
