Lightning lanes with group of 8???

We have our initial lightning lanes booked. How hard is it going to be to get additional lightning lanes as a group of 8? Would it be easier to book in groups of 4 ands try to get within the same booking hour or will that not make a difference? We have never gone with this big of a group.

We used the system last fall as a group of 8 and had no trouble booking additional LLs! Nothing worked any differently than when we traveled as a party of 5 later in the year. Have the best time!

Conflicting reports. Some say additional LLs are “booking groups” that can be snagged the same way by a party of 1 or a party of 19. Others say it seems to get harder at 5+. Only the software engineers know for sure! I hope it’s the former for us next month.

I just booked LLs for a group of 18 and had no issues.

@bjcaed was concerned about booking additional LLMP attractions during their park visit, and not the initial selections 7 days in advance.

It is rather easy to check if there is an issue. Start with you entire travel group when checking for additional LLMP attractions, and if you have trouble getting free return times, try with smaller groups for your travel party.

We’ve been with 7 and are going with 8 this summer. It is much easier booking the whole group together, even later in the day, than it is trying to split the group. That’s just an unnecessary challenge.
